Here Are Some Cadillac Escalade IQ Design Details You May Have Missed: Video

As GM Authority reported just a few days ago, General Motors released a teaser for the upcoming 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ. During the teaser video, a series of design elements flashed by very quickly. So, with this in mind, here’s a breakdown on what you may have missed in the Cadillac Escalade IQ teaser video.

First up, we have two photos that give us a rough approximation of what the all-electric Escalade’s front fascia will look like. The screenshot on the left shows off the Escalade IQ’s vertical daytime running lights, while the one on the right appears to be the turn signal.

Out back, the third brake light is situated on what appears to be the liftgate spoiler. Interestingly, while it’s not readily apparent in GM Authority spy photographs, that particular unit was covered in extensive camouflage, and upon closer look, we can make out that liftgate spoiler beneath the camo.

Speaking of GM Authority spy photographs, one detail that it closely reflected in this teaser are the wheels. Upon taking a closer inspection at the rollers on the Escalade IQ prototype, the wheels shown off in the teaser video appear to be quite similar.

Finally, a screenshot of the interior through the vehicle’s glass roof appears to correlate with another set of GM Authority photographs. Most notably, the cockpit is highlighted by a massive center screen/infotainment setup, which itself is inspired directly from the uber-luxurious Cadillac Celestiq.

As a reminder, the 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ is set to be officially revealed on August 9th, 2023 in New York City. Based on the GM BT1 platform – which is also utilized by the Chevy Silverado EV, GMC Sierra EV, GMC Hummer EV Pickup and GMC Hummer EV SUV – the upcoming Caddy electric SUV will be produced at the GM Factory Zero plant in Michigan, previously known as the GM Detroit-Hamtramck plant.

  1. A much more aggressive looking Lyriq from what I’m seeing, but even the current details that’s being shown look good.

    1. Hard to tell without looking at the whole vehicle at once but for a vehicle that is six figures, it will be way more refined, technically advanced and luxurious.
