The Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing is pretty nuts right out of the box, mixing the traditional Caddy luxury with a rip-snorting supercharged V8 engine. Now, however, Hennessey Performance Engineering is turning up the wick with a new package that increases output to break into the four-figure range. Incredibly, the package even comes with a warranty.
Appropriately named the H1000 upgrade, the new Hennessey package turns the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing into “Hercules in a tuxedo,” laying down a claimed 1,000 horsepower and 966 pound-feet of torque. For the sake of comparison, the standard Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing is rated at 668 horsepower and 659 pound-feet of torque. The extra oomph translates into quicker performance numbers, with the package clipping a full second off the stock vehicle’s 3.5-second 0-to-60 mph time. The package also enables a quarter mile time of 10.1 seconds, while top speed eclipses the 200-mph mark.
Making all this magic possible is GM’s supercharged 6.2L V8 LT4 engine, a powerplant that Hennessey has plenty of experience tuning, most notably with the Demon-slaying Exorcist Chevy Camaro.
“Cadillac’s CT5-V Blackwing, fitted with GM’s supercharged LT4, was a natural candidate for our Exorcist upgrade as it improves power considerably without affecting drivability,” says company founder and CEO John Hennessey. “Resurrected as an ‘H1000’, the four-door Cadillac is the fastest combustion-only luxury sedan on the planet. It is a rare high-water mark in a segment that will vanish by the decade’s end.”
The Hennessey-tuned H1000 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing upgrade includes a number of tasty tidbits highlighted by a new high-flow supercharger. Complementary mods include improved lifters and pushrods, enhanced intake and exhaust valves, ported cylinder heads, long-tube headers, and oversized heat exchangers. The whole shebang is controlled using Hennessey’s engine management calibration.
Critically, the H1000 upgrade for the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing also includes a two-year / 24,000-mile limited warranty. Production of new Hennessey H1000 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing units kicks off this August. Interested customers should contact Hennessey directly for more information.

Cant stand tuned cars.
Useless power for the rwd.
How is this useless? It is obviously quicker, 0-60 and 1/4 mile, according to Hennessey…so it is not useless. Do you need to have it that quick, no, but some people want it.
Only useless if YOU don’t have it….
0-60 mph is nothing, helloooo. Tesla S plaid blows it off the road, even a Model 3 could beat it. put the gas junk in the dump.
Apples to oranges !
