Digital Artist Imagines Two-Door Cadillac Escalade-V

The Cadillac Escalade-V is a mighty performer in its own right thanks in large part to its supercharged V8 engine and AWD drivetrain. As outer-worldly as this may be for a full-size luxury SUV, one digital artist decided to go a little further, putting his own touch on the high-performance Caddy by creating a two-door Escalade-V.

In a post to social media, one artist rendered an Escalade-V with only two doors – or three if you count the rear liftgate. Involving the ethos of the original two-door Chevy Tahoe and GMC Yukon, this stubby Escalade is certainly striking to behold.

Additional features include the likes of aftermarket wheels, fender flares, and a prominent rear diffuser. Notably, this render appears to be lowered, further adding to the coolness factor.

What do you think, dear reader? Should General Motors offer a two-door variant of the Cadillac Escalade-V? Or is the current four-door model the way to go? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section below!

As a reminder, the current 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V is the most powerful Escalade variant ever, and features the supercharged 6.2L V8 LT4 gasoline engine, rated at 682 horsepower and 653 pound-feet of torque. This monstrous output figure is routed to all four wheels via the GM 10-speed automatic transmission.

In addition, the high-performance luxury SUV boasts a suite of features for braking and cornering, which includes the likes of massive Brembo brakes, and the Magnetic Ride Control 4.0 suspension.

    1. People should realize that just because your psychographic & Demographic profile doesn’t fit with they way you do things in your culture, didn’t mean that everyone agrees with your views, likes it dislikes. Nobody really cares if you like are not someone else does. I think it can become a great show car if care for correctly, and child bring you in a lot of money. So next time think of flip instead of flop. People throw away good revenue just because they want to keep with the in crowd.

      1. There is no psychographic or demographic in which this render would be considered acceptable

  4. I don’t know where to start, but this is really bad, I would think that if you had the talent to digitally create something on a computer you would have better taste. You get points for a nice cowl induction hood. Lose points for the Pep Boy stick on fender port. Maybe take a class on aerodynamics. Sorry dude.

  5. it is ugly but understand it is for the most readers fo GMA who like giving me dislikes, we understand it is not for our, me & wife, good tastes, we know how to appreciate “beautiness” and elegance… but we know the term “good design” was since a decade threw into the trash

  6. apparently the next gawdy trend of wide-body. all of these renders just seem to use the stretched tools. just make a render of a production ready. 22’s are bad of enough but at least the seems to be the current production max. get rid of the fender vent. make rear suicide doors like that was on 1999-2006 silverado extended cabs

  7. Hate the weird oversized wheels, but hey at least they aren’t painted black!

  8. It’s just a concept. Yes it jeeds some tweeking hut fir those in denial, this is what keeps the multi-billion dollar custom vehicle hobby/industry rolling…ideas. If GM would build a new 2×2 (2door/2 wheel) Tahoe, those of who l8ke and owned the 90s models would buy it. I’ve owned 2 and would buy a new version. A few years ago GM Authoriy had a reaaly cool rendering of their idea of a new 2 door 2 wheel Tahoe, but I doubt it’ll go forth.

  9. Looks like a custom build rejected by the SEMA show for being too outrageous.

    1. Sounds like you’ve never been to SEMA or any one of the hundreds of custom truck shows. Vehicles like this are welcome

      1. Yes, the joke is SEMA is known for its outlandish custom vehicles, thank you.

        1. Hey av…Say that next time SEMA is in Washington fighting for our right to drive the cars we want or when they are fighting the EPA over dumb rules, or when they are helping young people with careers in the custom auto aftermarket, or when they help the hobby/industry by fighting stupid laws that threaten millions of jobs. Yeah, SEMA is a joke.

  13. Getting rid of the fender flares, wheels and tires and set the ride height back to normal and it wouldn’t be bad. Getting rid of those fender flares would allow for some aero work on the front and rear end. Hood looks great.

  14. I’d make several modifications including the wheels that are overkill. I have a 94 Yukon 2-dr and love it but the practically of it compared to a 4-dr Yukon makes it a personal vehicle and not a family vehicle. The 3-dr version would be nice like some of the early 3-dr extended pick-ups.
