Pricing for the 2024 Encore GX starts $300 less than the 2023 model.

How long will GM subsidize Buick in the US for the sake of sales in China?
I just purchased a new 2023 Encore GX Select. Got $2000 off sticker. I test drove both the 1.3L and the 1.2L engines, and found no discernable difference. Both accelerate fine getting on freeway ramps, etc. I bought the smaller engine, and it is much smoother and accelerates better than my 2019 Encore with the 1.4L. Also, the start/stop technology is much more refined than on my ’19, I rarely notice it at all. In mixed driving, in each of the 3 tanks of gas I got 33 mpg. So far, very pleased.
I also have 2019 I have been looking possibly to buying a new 2023 but if the HORRIBLE Road noise is the same obviously no sense in it .
There is less road noise in the ’23 GX than my ’19 Encore. Take a long test drive would be my recommendation.
