Availability of the Fountain Blue exterior paint color (paint code GLN) will be greatly expanded for the 2024 Chevy Trailblazer, GM Authority has learned from sources familiar with the matter.
Fountain Blue was introduced as a new tint for the 2023 model year with limited availability by trim level, while all trims of the 2024 Chevy Trailblazer will now include the color as an available option.
The 2023 Chevy Trailblazer introduced Fountain Blue as a paint option on the RS trim level only, paired with a contrasting Mosaic Black Metallic roof. The option is priced at $395.
The Fountain Blue color choice will be available across all trim levels for the 2024 Chevy Trailblazer, including the LS, LT, RS, and Activ trims. The hue will be matched to a Summit White contrasting roof on the Activ trim, while the RS will continue to feature a Mosaic Black Metallic roof in conjunction with the color. Pricing for the paint option is set at $395 for all trims.
As part of its expanded availability, Fountain Blue can now be mixed with all interior colorways (trim levels are shown in parentheses):
- Jet Black (LS and LT)
- Jet Black/Medium Ash Gray (LS and LT)
- Jet Black with Yellow Stitching (Activ)
- Jet Black/Artemis with Yellow Stitching (Activ)
- Jet Black with Red Accent (RS)
The 2024 Chevy Trailblazer offers nine exterior paint colors in total, as GM Authority previously revealed. Seven of these colors, including Fountain Blue, carry over from the 2023 model year, while two – Cacti Green and Copper Harbor Metallic – are new for 2024.
The refreshed 2024 Chevy Trailblazer debuts redesign of the exterior styling, interior, and available features of the small crossover nameplate. The exterior gets new, slimmer upper lighting signatures and a fresh grille treatment alongside the paint color availability changes. The different trims also get unique wheel designs and styling cues to set them apart.
The overhauled interior gets a new standard 11-inch diagonal center display alongside an 8-inch diagonal Driver Information Center. The interior offers 54.4 cubic feet of cargo space. Technology includes numerous safety features as standard, with Adaptive Cruise Control as an available option.
Motivation for the 2024 Chevy Trailblazer is provided either by the standard turbocharged 1.2L I3 LIH gasoline engine developing 137 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque, or the optional turbocharged 1.3L I3 L3T gasoline engine, which provides output of 155 horsepower and 174 pound-feet of torque.
Models equipped with the 1.2L I3 LIH engine, as well as models with the 1.3L I3 L3T and front-wheel drive, connect to GM’s continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT), while 1.3L engines with all-wheel drive are paired with the GM 9-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard, while all-wheel drive is optional.
The refreshed Trailblazer continues to use the GM VSS-F platform for structure under the body panels. Production of the 2024 Chevy Trailblazer for the U.S. market will begin at the GM Bupyeong plant in South Korea this autumn. Pricing starts at $24,395.

Nice color and the redesign looks good as well! Good job Chevy 👍🏻👍🏻
Good color to make it easy to find where you parked it among the million cars parked at Costco.
Now I know why it struck me as weird, I think it’s non-metallic. I hate the trend toward boring non-metallic paints. Welcome back 1960’s! The strangest ones I see are the non-metallic battleship gray foreigns, it looks like glossy primer, pass.
I thought the same when I last saw a new Honda CR-V in gray. But the sun hit it and all the metallics popped out. Had no idea, very subtle.
Great color.
I think it is silly and don’t make since not to have all colors available on certain vehicles not available on all the trim levels. Why not have all available colors on all trim levels. On all vehicles. A color should not be limited to certain
trim levels. That is a mistake I think that GM makes and is an easy fix. Makes ordering a vehicle much more difficult.
How about some engine transmission options
It a nice color, glad it’s availability is expanded.
Would rather spend the four hundred dollars on some horsepower and torque
Looks like it’s time for a non-metallic Robin’s Egg Blue, which that Fountain Blue reminded me of… I dislike the mottled graying of real colors going on in most cars too… (other than maybe making a yellow that should be called Stadium Mustard) —
I bought this car with this color 2 months ago. I absolutely love it!!!!
