2024 Cadillac XT6 Configurator Live

The Cadillac XT6 initially made its debut for the 2020 model year, with the 2024 Cadillac XT6 arriving as the fifth model year for the three-row luxury crossover, introducing only a few small updates and changes compared to the preceding 2023 model year. Now, interested fans and customers can spec the 2024 Cadillac XT6 as they see fit using the official online configurator tool. Production of the 2024 Cadillac XT6 kicks off very soon.

Although the Cadillac XT6 is now in its fifth model year, the crossover will not receive a mid-cycle refresh for 2024. Instead, the XT6 will carry over mostly unchanged from the preceding 2023 model year, as GM Authority covered previously.

A total of three trim levels are on offer for the 2024 Cadillac XT6. These include the base-level Luxury, as well as the Premium Luxury and the Sport. Both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive are offered.

The engine lineup continues unchanged, with the entry-level turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY gasoline engine once again rated at 235 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. Customers are also offered to naturally aspirated 3.6L V6 LGX gasoline engine, which is rated at 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque. Both engines connect to the GM nine-speed automatic transmission, while the GM C1 platform provides the underpinnings.

One of the only changes introduced by the 2024 Cadillac XT6 is a new paint options list, with Latte Metallic (paint code G5D), Rosewood Metallic (paint code GCK), and Wilder Metallic (paint code GED) no longer offered. As a replacement for these outgoing hues, the latest 2024 model year introduces two new colors, including Emerald Lake Metallic (paint code G6I) and Midnight Sky Metallic (paint code GXF).

Critically, the full 400,000-mile GM Super Cruise coverage update launched last year will not be available for the Cadillac XT6, as GM Authority covered previously.

Production of the 2024 Cadillac XT6 will begin this month at the GM Spring Hill plant in Tennessee.

  4. the 3.6 needs to be retired. basically 11 years old in it’s current state, but really dates back to 2004. it was a fine V6 but time for the 2.7 turbo

  5. The 3.6L V6 is still in production because people are still ordering it. Get over it. Production has been extended into 2026. I don’t want no 4 cylinder spooler in my XT6!! My 2019 Buick Lacrosse has the 3.6L and it does 0-60 in 5.9 sec and gets 31 mpg at 75mph with the 9 speed auto. There is no 2.7L 4 cylinder getting 31 mpg. Not in ANY vehicle it is offered in!!

  6. The xt6 is a problem plagued vehicle. Reliability ranks among the worst. Cadillac is going downhill quick. While the most popular selling Cadi is the xt5, as it is well built and very reliable but next year it will be exclusive to China. GM is a mess and the current CEO is just stuffing her personal bank balance.

  8. Who cares about the engine this thing is WAY behind in the interior aspect, the Hyundai Palaside has a way better interior with more features for a less price. Idk why Cadillac decided not to refresh this for 2024, even the traverse and Acadia are receiving redesigns come on now
