The 2024 Cadillac CT5 is the fifth model year for the luxury sedan, introducing a selection of minor upgrades and changes compared to the preceding 2023 model year. Some of these changes include new styling features and package adjustments. Now, GM Authority has learned that the 2024 Cadillac CT5’s Onyx Package will include a new decklid spoiler.
According to GM Authority sources, the Onyx Package (RPO code PDB) on offer for the 2024 Cadillac CT5 will now include a new rear spoiler (RPO code 5V5) for Luxury and Premium Luxury trim levels. The Sport trim level already includes a body-color rear spoiler (RPO code D52) as standard equipment.
The full content of the Onyx Package (RPO code PDB) for the 2024 Cadillac CT5 includes the following (relevant RPO codes listed in parentheses):
- 20-inch alloy wheels with Gloss Black finish (SSJ)
- Gloss Black CT5 nameplate (RIK)
- Black mirror caps (5JS)
- Black grille (5XR)
- Gloss Black rear license plate applique (RXX)
- Monochrome Cadillac emblems (SFZ) (Luxury only)
- Gloss Black grille trim (E5K) (Luxury and Premium Luxury only)
- Rear spoiler (5V5) (Luxury and Premium Luxury only)
The 2024 Cadillac CT5 was originally expected to introduce a model refresh. However, new details later came to light which revealed that the sedan would instead be refreshed for either the 2025 model year or possibly late in the 2024 model year (as a 2024.5 model).
As such, updates for 2024 Cadillac CT5 are somewhat limited, at least for now. In addition to the new spoiler for the Onyx Package, as detailed above, 2024 Cadillac CT5-V models and 2024 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing models also offer a new exterior paint lineup, with four new hues added to the list, and five hues deleted.
As before, the 2024 Cadillac CT5 will ride on the GM Alpha 2 platform, with production set to take place at the GM Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan. Production of the 2024 Cadillac CT5 will kick off this July.

Waiting for the refresh before I buy my CT5. This is good news though as the onyx package as well as.the sunroof package will be added to mines
Why are the monochrome emblems only available on luxury models and not premium luxury models?
Because there is no monochrome emblem that is compatible with adaptive cruise control, which is a standard feature on higher trims.
Thank you for the insight!
Very Cheap to manufacture so… it means because some .. the cash flow into pocket is higher for the same
Any updates on 2024 CT4 production startup or new styling or options?
Hey GM, the CT5-V needs 450hp to incite me to take my check book out. Keep that in mind for the refresh.
How about making the 2.7 liter the base motor and the 10spd. Love the car but don’t want the weak 2. Liter. Plus the 2.7 should take regular gas and have more hp and tq. Let’s get it updated.
