The 2024 Cadillac CT4 ushers in the fifth model year for the first-generation luxury sedan, bringing with it a few updates and changes compared to the preceding 2023 model year. Among the updates are a few changes to the optional packages. Now, GM Authority has learned that the 2024 Cadillac CT4 will offer a new decklid spoiler in conjunction with the optional Onyx Package.
The Onyx Package for the 2024 Cadillac CT4 is tagged with RPO code PDB, and includes a number of exterior components to enhance the four-door’s visual appeal. Among these is a decklid spoiler (RPO code 5V5), which was just added to the package for the 2024 model year. The new decklid spoiler offered in conjunction with the Onyx Package will only be available for 2024 Cadillac CT4 Luxury and Premium Luxury trim levels, while the 2024 Cadillac CT4 Sport will incorporate a black spoiler (RPO code 5ZV) in conjunction with the Onyx Package.
The full content of the Onyx Package for the 2024 Cadillac CT4 includes (relevant RPO codes listed in parentheses):
- 19-inch alloy wheels with Gloss Black finish (SOU)
- Gloss Black CT4 nameplate (RIK)
- Black mirror caps (5JS)
- Black grille (5XR)
- Monochrome Cadillac emblems (SFZ) (Luxury only)
- Rear spoiler (5V5) (Luxury and Premium Luxury only)
- Black spoiler (5ZV) (Sport only)
To note, the Onyx Package is classified as an LPO-level option, which means it is installed by the dealer, rather than at the factory when the vehicle is initially produced.
As covered previously, the 2024 Cadillac CT4 was initially expected to introduce a mid-cycle refresh. However, new details have come to light which indicate the CT4 will in fact be refreshed for either the 2025 model year or the 2024.5 model year.
With that in mind, 2024 Cadillac CT4 will introduce only a few updates and changes. In addition to the new decklid spoiler included with the Onyx Package, as detailed above, the 2024 Cadillac CT4-V and CT4-V Blackwing will also offer a new paint options list, with four new colors added, and five colors deleted.
All Cadillac CT4 variants ride on the GM Alpha 2 platform. Production of the 2024 Cadillac CT4 will begin this July at the GM Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan.
