2023 Corvette Stingray Limited Editions Launched In Japan

The C8 Corvette is international, offering overseas customers an American-sized heaping of mid-engine V8 performance. That includes buyers in Japan, where Chevy is launching two new limited-edition Corvette Stingray models. Production caps for the two new models reflects the “Limited Edition” name well, with only a few dozen units set to be produced.

The two limited-edition C8 Corvette Stingray models offered in Japan include the Limited Racing Style Edition and the Limited Sport Style Edition.

New Limited Edition variant of the C8 Corvette Stingray offered in Japan.

Let’s start with the Limited Racing Style Edition, which is designed to reflect Corvette’s motorsport heritage with a pair of full-length Carbon Flash Metallic racing stripes, complemented by Carbon Flash accents for the sideview mirrors and rear spoiler. The roof panel is finished in the body color. The exterior upgrades also include Gloss Black 20-spoke forged aluminum wheels housing Edge Red brake calipers. Inside, the Limited Racing Style Edition Corvette incorporates a blue and black color scheme with Competition Sport Bucket seats wrapped in Napa leather. The seat belts are blue as well.

Alternatively, the Limited Racing Style Edition Corvette can be had Arctic White paint with Edge Red racing stripes and Midnight Gray wheels with red stripes, plus a red and black interior and GT2 bucket seats.

Pricing for the Limited Racing Style Edition Corvette starts at 16,900,000 yen ($119,153 at current exchange rates) for the Coupe variant, and 18,400,000 yen ($129,729 at current exchange rates) for the Convertible model. The Arctic White variant starts at 14,900,000 ($105,052 at current exchange rates) yen for Coupe models.

Meanwhile, the Limited Sport Style Edition Corvette is offered in Black with Midnight Gray wheels (including red stripes) and Edge Red brake calipers, plus a Jet Back interior and GT2 bucket seats with Napa leather and suede microfiber inserts. Alternatively, the Limited Sport Style Edition Corvette can be had in Accelerate Yellow with Carbon Flash accents for the sideview mirrors and rear spoiler, as well as the roof. The wheels are Gloss Black 20-spoke units, while the brake calipers are finished in Edge Yellow. The interior is once again done in Jet Black, and includes GT2 seats with Napa leather and suede microfiber upholstery, plus yellow seat belts.

Pricing for the Limited Sport Style Edition Corvette starts at 14,700,000 yen ($103,642 at current exchange rates) for the Coupe variant in Black, 14,700,000 yen ($103,642 at current exchange rates) for the Coupe model in Accelerate Yellow, and 18,200,000 yen ($128,319 at current exchange rates) for the Convertible model in Accelerate Yellow.

Only 35 units of each Limited Edition Corvette will be produced.

  1. Wouldn’t it be nice if orders for vehicles be filled before shipping vehicles to other countries? American customers should come first!!!
