2023 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing Gets New Radiant Red Tintcoat Color: First Look

The 2023 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing adds four new exterior colors to its palette: Argent Silver Metallic, Midnight Steel Metallic, Maverick Noir Frost, and Radiant Red Tintcoat. Here’s our first look at the new Red hue.

Assigned RPO code GNT and touch-up paint code WA-170H, Radiant Red Tintcoat is one of 10 exterior colors offered on this high-performance variant of the CT4 luxury sedan, which include:

  • Summit White
  • Black Raven
  • Blaze Orange Metallic
  • Wave Metallic
  • Electric Blue
  • Rift Metallic
  • Radiant Red Tintcoat (new for 2023)
  • Argent Silver Metallic (new for 2023)
  • Midnight Steel Metallic (new for 2023)
  • Maverick Noir Frost (new for 2023)

The Radiant Red Tintcoat color is an extra-cost item that adds an additional $1,225 to the price of the luxury sedan and can be combined with all interior colorways.

For reference, here are all three available interior colorways offered on the 2023 CT4-V Blackwing:

  • Jet Black with Jet Black accents
  • Natural Tan with Jet Black accents
  • Sky Cool Gray with Jet Black accents

The 2023 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing arrives with just a handful of changes and updates over the 2022 model, the biggest of which being the debut of new Track Editions. Offered in three different iterations, each is named after a U.S. race track, including the Watkins Glen IMSA Edition, the Sebring IMSA Edition, and the Road Atlanta IMSA Edition.

The Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing runs the twin-turbocharged 3.6L V6 LF4 gasoline engine, rated at 472 horsepower and 445 pound-feet of torque. The GM six-speed manual transmission is standard, while the GM 10-speed automatic transmission is optional – both exclusively feeding the rear wheels.

In December, Car and Driver named the CT4-V Blackwing to its 2023 10Best cars list.

The Cadillac CT4 rides on the GM Alpha 2 platform, which is shared with the Cadillac CT5. Production kicked off at the GM Lansing Grand River plant on July 18th, 2022. Production of the 2024 model year will start on July 10th, 2023.

  1. I love the car but I still think the new red tintcoat is too dark. More bright shiny trim would certainly help as well. I don’t care for the trend towards dark and dull vehicles.

  2. How about a “Pink” Cadillac to go oozing down the street? To honor Aretha Franklin.
