General Motors unveiled an all-new generation for the Chevy Trailblazer with the launch of the 2021 model year, debuting a totally redesigned small crossover model to slot in between the Chevy Trax and Chevy Equinox with regard to Chevy’s lineup. Critically, sales for the third-gen Chevy Trailblazer have been on the rise, showing impressive strength in the highly competitive mainstream subcompact crossover segment. Now, GM Authority has learned that the Chevy Trailblazer had a particularly strong sales performance last month.
According to GM Authority sources, the Chevy Trailblazer earned its highest retail share month ever during April of the 2023 calendar year. The strong sales performance enabled the Chevy Trailblazer to become the best-selling small SUV in its segment for the first time ever, which is quite the achievement considering the sheer volume of competition.
Although General Motors no longer publishes month-to-month U.S. sales figures, we can look to figures from Q1 (January, February, March) as a reference. During Q1, the Chevy Trailblazer secured second place in its segment in terms of sales volume, with 27,951 units sold, a massive 225-percent year-over-year increase compared to the 8,606 units sold in Q1 of the 2022 calendar year. The 27,951 units sold gave the Chevy Trailblazer a 10-percent share of the segment, with the Subaru Crosstrek topping the segment with 41,562 units sold, or 15 percent of segment share. The Honda HR-V was third in sales, with 26,504 units sold, or 9 percent of the segment share.

I’d like to see the ‘volcanic red tincoat’ available on the Terrain as an optional choice on the Trailblazer and Trax. It would be a nice look on a smaller vehicle.
It reminds me of ‘candy apple’ .
Title of the article says that the Chevy TB had a very good month of April, but anywhere on it has a number of how it did in April. Q1 is Quarter one that only covers Jan, Feb & March. Just wondering….

Where is April data?
The Trailblazer was always a good seller, when it’s available on dealer lots in sufficient numbers. It sales suffered during the global supply chain constraints.
I guess people are willing to overlook engine/turbo issues and incurable brake noise. The two biggest problems plaguing the current Trailblazer and Encore GX. That’s enough to keep me away.
Honda ruined the HR-V and the Trailblazer is cute which is EVERYTHING in this segment… mini-SUV shoppers don’t care about HP… off-roading… dragging 6 other people around with them…
They are mostly female and the looks of the SUV are the #1 selling point.
