Take An In-Depth Tour Of The 2024 Chevy Trax Activ’s Interior: Video

The 2024 Chevy Trax got its big debut last October, with GM pulling the sheets on an all-new generation for the entry-level crossover. Among the changes is a new design both inside and out, and now, GM Authority is diving into the cabin to bring you this in-depth tour of the interior of the 2024 Chevy Trax Activ.

Hosted by GM Authority Executive Editor Alex Luft, the video is seven minutes, 45 seconds long, and includes a firsthand look at the look, layout, and features of the 2024 Chevy Trax Activ interior.

For those readers who may be unaware, the 2024 Chevy Trax Activ is one of two range-toppers in the lineup, slotting in alongside the 2RS in the crossover’s trim level cadence. The example featured in the video is decked out in the Jet Black with Yellow Accents interior colorway.

Front and center, we find an 11-inch diagonal infotainment screen, which is equipped as standard on Activ, 2RS, and LT trim levels, while an 8-inch screen is standard on LS and 1RS trims.

As pointed out in the video, the dash incorporates an interesting triangular texture to it, which complements the geometric layout for the rest of the cabin elements. Long horizontal lines enhance the visual width of the cabin layout. Rounded vents are mounted in the sides of the dash, while thin rectangular vents are placed centrally below the main infotainment screen.

As for onboard tech features, the 2024 Chevy Trax is equipped with Chevy Safety Assist, which includes six advanced safety features, as well as wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. To note, GM is moving away from Apple CarPlay and Android Auto with its new EV models, as GM Authority covered previously.

As a reminder, the all-new 2024 Chevy Trax cradles the turbocharged 1.2L I3 LIH gasoline engine as standard, with output rated at 137 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque. Output is sent to the front wheels via the GM six-speed automatic transmission, while under the skin, the 2024 Chevy Trax rides on the GM VSS-F vehicle set. Production takes place at the GM Changwon plant in South Korea.

  1. Thank you GMauthority!!! I’ve been waiting for a full fledged interior tour like this one. Will go in to order a 2RS this weekend, like this more than the Kona.

    1. One thing to consider. Activ trim is the only trim with a power driver’s seat. 2RS does not offer a power driver’s seat despite being the same base price as the Activ. Just something to keep in mind if you are needing or wanting a power seat.

      1. Thanks, very useful to know. I’m really amazed that the 2RS wouldn’t have a power driver’s seat as standard, but even more so that you can’t get one at all for that level.
