As GM Authority previously revealed, the refreshed 2024 Cadillac XT4 has lost three paint colors and gained three new exterior hues to replace them. Today, we’re going to take a closer look at all the colors offered for the 2024 model year.
The eight paint colors available on the 2024 Cadillac XT4 are as follows (relevant color codes in parenthesis):
- Argent Silver Metallic (GXD)
- Crystal White Tricoat (G1W)
- Deep Sea Metallic (GXP – new for 2024)
- Emerald Lake Metallic (G6I – new for 2024)
- Latte Metallic (G5D)
- Midnight Sky Metallic (GXF – new for 2024)
- Radiant Red Tintcoat (GNT)
- Stellar Black Metallic (GB8)
Argent Silver Metallic (GXD)

Deep Sea Metallic (GXP)
Emerald Lake Metallic (G6I)
Latte Metallic (G5D)

All eight colors are available on all three 2024 Cadillac XT4 trim levels, including Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Sport. The only no-charge paint color is Argent Silver Metallic. Crystal White Tricoat and Radiant Red Tintcoat are priced at $1,225, while the rest cost $625 extra.
Besides its lineup of new and carryover exterior paint colors, the 2024 Cadillac XT4 features refreshed styling that includes a reworked front fascia with a larger grille, a new split headlamp assembly with vertical lighting elements, and aggressive air inlets. The interior gets a new 33-inch, 9K-resolution LED color touchscreen borrowed from the Cadillac Lyriq, a 14-speaker audio system from AKG, and other updates.
On the safety technology front, the 2024 Cadillac XT4 boasts Blind Zone Steering Assist, Rear Cross Traffic Braking, and Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, plus the Active Safety Package. The XT4 will also eventually get GM Super Cruise.
The 2024 Cadillac XT4 is motivated by a single powerplant option, the turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY gasoline engine. This engine develops 235 horsepower at 5,000 rpm and 258 pound-feet of torque at 1,500 rpm. Output is directed through the GM 9-speed automatic transmission, connected to available standard front-wheel drive or optional all-wheel drive.
As reported earlier by GM Authority, pricing for the 2024 Cadillac XT4 starts at $39,090 for Luxury models, $42,690 for Premium Luxury models, and $45,190 for Sport models. Buyers can also choose from a long list of optional packages and standalone options. The online configurator for the latest XT4 model year has been live since mid-May.
The crossover rides on the GM E2 platform, with production taking place at the GM Fairfax plant in Kansas City.

Yes, Emerald Lake is the best color up there.
The Midnight Sky is also interesting, it looks purple-y, here’s a quote about purple: “Why was the color purple so important?
Purple is said to represent transformation. Purple is the color of royalty because of its association with the colored clothing of ancient monarchs and their relatives. Purple is the most powerful visible wavelength out of all of the colors in the rainbow.”
That purple color is way less distinctive in person, it looks like a very slightly bluish-purple but otherwise very dark charcoal and doesn’t really have any impact.
The red, however, pops almost as much as Mazda’s Soul Red Crystal and I would argue that it’s the best metallic color GM currently offers across the range.
Deep Sea Metallic, Emerald Lake Metallic, Latte Metallic, Midnight Sky metallic, and Radiant red Metallic are the best of them

These new 2024 colors are apparently not available yet as I cannot find any dealers nationwide with any in stock. There are plenty of black, white and silver but nothing else….
So I guess the Galactic Gray isn’t available for the 2024 XT4? Damn…That’s a deal breaker for me, I wanted that color. Guess I’ll stick with my 2021 XT4 in White.
I bought the Latte unexpectedly and 2 days after I got it I was at my Community HOA when a man asked me “Do you know who owns that gorgeous Cadillac”? He was enthralled with it. I told him I did and he wanted to look at it inside and out. Winner!
Yup, I sawr a new XT4 Sport in your color over at the Home Depot, it looked great!
I just bought the XT4 in Latte. I ordered it out of Arizona and had it transported to Florida. I never saw that color in person. I expected it to be much lighter than it is but everyone seems to love it! My husband says it looks luxurious! It seems to get a lot of heads turning. I’m very happy with it!
