GM has issued a customer satisfaction program for certain units of the 2023 Cadillac CT4 which were seemingly produced with an incorrect side blind zone assist mirror.
The customer satisfaction bulletin does not specify any problems or inconveniences that may be caused to 2023 Cadillac CT4 drivers by the installation of the incorrect side rearview mirrors.
GM instructs its dealers to check whether 2023 Cadillac CT4 units that may be affected are marked as “Open” on the GM Global Warranty Management system’s Investigate Vehicle History screen before ordering parts and beginning updates.
Dealership service personnel should replace both side mirrors on affected 2023 Cadillac CT4 units at the same time, with the instructions calling for the left-hand or driver-side mirror to be replaced first. The body-colored mirror cap should be removed from the incorrect mirror and reused with the correct replacement mirror.
The mirror and housing on each 2023 Cadillac CT4 side mirror needs to be replaced with the correct mirror and housing, totaling four individual replacement parts per vehicle. Labor time is approximately one hour for the full replacement.
GM further instructs dealers to keep affected 2023 Cadillac CT4 units in inventory until they are fitted with the correct replacement mirrors. CT4s with the incorrect mirrors should not be delivered to customers, traded between dealerships, or used for demonstrations until the specified part replacements are properly completed.
Replacement of the 2023 Cadillac CT4 side mirrors is carried out free of charge to the customer, regardless of mileage, changes of ownership, or other details. The replacement program starts in April 2023 and continues through May 31st, 2025.
Owners of affected 2023 Cadillac CT4 sedans who have additional questions about the replacement of the vehicle’s side blind zone assist mirror can contact Cadillac’s customer service number, using the customer satisfaction program number listed below:
