The C8 Corvette brings midship handling and traction to the storied Chevy Corvette nameplate, once again offering impressive performance that’s ready for the track. However, getting the most out of the C8 Corvette is no simple task, and requires a great deal of practice and training. To that end, Corvette owners can sharpen their skills at the Ron Fellows Performance Driving School, as featured in the following video.
Headquartered at the Spring Mountain Motor Resort and Country Club, located 55 miles west of downtown Las Vegas, the Ron Fellows Performance Driving School offers Corvette owners an opportunity to extract ten-tenths from the eighth-gen Vette. New C8 Corvette Stingray and C8 Corvette Z06 owners can sign up for a two-day program that provides both classroom instruction and on-track, firsthand experience, taking the new Corvette to the limit in a safe and educational environment.
The opportunity is highlighted in a new Corvette Expert Sessions video. Clocking in at just over four-and-a-half minutes, the video goes over some of the things that prospective students can expect when attending the Ron Fellows Performance Driving School in Nevada.
“Well, you’re obviously an enthusiast,” says school founder Ron Fellows. “You’ve bought a fantastic sports car, why wouldn’t you want to learn more about it? That’s really what we offer here, is the ability to come, spend two days and get much more intensive level of training, knowledge, understanding, appreciation of the vehicle that you now own.”
Students can attend the school with any level of racing experience, with most students attending with no experience whatsoever. Students can expect to graduate the two-day school with a better understanding of the C8 Corvette, as well as car control and car balance.
The two-day program is available for $1,000 to first retail purchasers of new and unused C8 Corvette models within the first year of delivery. The Spring Mountain Motor Resort Country Club facility includes a clubhouse, lockers, showers, a pool, a fitness facility, and on-site lodging.
