The Cadillac CT5 first made splashdown for the 2020 model year, offering sumptuous luxury wrapped up in a stylish four-door package. Looking ahead, it’s expected that the Cadillac CT5 will soon receive a refresh, likely for the 2024.5 model year. Now, new spy shots provide us with a fresh look at the upcoming refreshed Cadillac CT5.
Although the Cadillac CT5 was originally expected to introduce a refresh for the 2024 model year, per an exclusive GM Authority report, details later came to light indicating that the refresh would be pushed back. The latest indication is that the Cadillac CT5 will receive a refresh partway through the 2024 model year, or technically the 2024.5 model year, much like how the Chevy Silverado 1500 was refreshed for the 2022.5 model year.
These latest spy photos reveal more of the refreshed Cadillac CT5’s front fascia, with the restyled nose showing off a slender grille, double-Y-shaped bumper section, sharpened lower intake, and new lighting. The lighting is particularly notable, incorporating an unbroken lighting signature that runs vertically from the bumper up into the fenders, while thin lighting elements in the top of the fascia act as turn signals. The primary forward lighting elements are nestled in the crook of the thin lighting elements that run vertically and horizontally around the outer edge of the hood.
Further details are revealed in the profile, where we see some camo strips hiding what could be a new wheel design. That said, these particular alloys do look rather familiar, reminding us of the 19-inch alloy wheels with Diamond Cut/Midnight Silver finish (RPO code Q84) offered as optional for the Premium Luxury trim, but either way, the forthcoming refresh will definitely introduce some new rollers to the lineup.
Finally, moving to the rear, this refreshed Cadillac CT5 prototype is equipped some weird-looking exhaust tips. The pipes are in fact the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Portable Emissions Measurement Systems, or PEMS.
As GM Authority has covered previously, the system measures emissions, and indicates that the refreshed Cadillac CT5 is set to introduce some powertrain changes.
We’ll have more details in the near future, so stay tuned. In the meantime, subscribe to GM Authority for more Cadillac CT5 news, Cadillac news, and around-the-clock GM news coverage.

Won’t believe it till I see it.
For real. I held off buying a 2023 CT5-V because of the expected refresh. Now I really don’t know what to do. Order a ‘24 as soon as the books open? Wait an unknown time for the refreshed CT5-V to become even more expensive? GM dropped the supplier discount for 2024 on the 3.0 V. Will the car really be that different? GMA help!
I did the exact same thing. I had my allocation come up for a ‘23 but decided to wait for the “refreshed” 2024. Now, there’s NO refresh and only the very slightest differences. One thing there IS though is a $1500 price bump for a ‘24. Lesson learned, I’m not waiting any longer. My allocation is supposed to be one of the very first at my dealership and I’m gonna jump on it.
By the way, unless it doesn’t matter to you, along with the eventual refresh, I’m betting on another pretty good sized price bump, perhaps even as big as the $7k they stuck us with for the 2023’s (for nothing)
How do you know the Supplier Discount has been dropped?

Well, there’s a photograph at the top of the page. What more do you need?
Haha. True. But I do agree with Early Rush below. I can’t really tell the difference.
Looks the same.i don’t see any thing different

No sheetmetal changes. But the front facia and lamps are new.
I believe most of the changes will be inside.
I like this more than I thought I would. Earlier spy shots gave the impression that this would be gen 1 CT6-esque. Clearly not the case. 👍
Agreed. I was a bit worried, but this is starting to look quite nice.
Well I just hope those tailpipe extensions make it through to production.
It keeps things interesting if your lease is running out or ready to trade anyway.
I see bigger rear side view mirrors, like on the CT4. It’s not mentioned.
Keep us updated on any engine updates and on the CT4 updates.
The biggest issue they didn’t touch – the awful c-pillar design. That kills this car’s look and makes it look like a Chrysler 200 !
Worse than I thought, bigger fake plastic vents that make the car look like its wearing KISS makeup……
I guess the fake vents compliment the fake window…..
It appears Cadillac addressed the c-pillar design controversy.
great looking refresh for the CT5, still waiting to see the 2024 CT4 refresh. I can understand why ii is a great looker, the styling of the 2024 CT6 is absolutely gorgeous. Those Caddy designers really know how to design great looking cars. Great work guys.
I like where the CT5 is headed, but I’m going to disagree with you on that updated Chinese market CT6. The front fascia is absolutely schizophrenic. It has no idea what it wants to be with all types of odd lines and geometry. Maybe it would look better in person, but looks like we won’t ever see it here in the USDM.
