Buick Enclave Most Considered Luxury Vehicle In Q1 2023

For the second consecutive fiscal quarter, the Buick Enclave was the most considered luxury vehicle during the first quarter of 2023, with consideration rising 16 percent from Q4 2022 figures.
According to a new report from Cox Automotive and Kelley Blue Book, the Buick Enclave topped the list of the most considered luxury vehicles during Q1 2023, with the Cadillac Escalade following in second place. In fifth place was the Buick Encore, followed by the BMW 3 Series, BMW X3 and Buick Envision in sixth, eighth and tenth place, respectively.
As a whole, Buick Q1 2023 sales helped to propel overall luxury SUV consideration to rise five percent from Q4 2022 figures to 73 percent. Meanwhile, luxury sedan numbers fell six percent from Q4 2022 to 45 percent.
In its recent Q1 2023 Brand Watch report, Kelley Blue Book outlined which models consumers were considering for purchase in a variety of different categories and segments. Established in 2007, the latest rendition of the study includes both mobile and desktop users, a change implemented as of January 1st, 2022, thus providing a better response rate and more diverse group of respondents. Before this change, results were based on desktop users only.
As a reminder, Consumer Reports recently gave the 2023 Buick Enclave a “recommended” rating, noting that the crossover offers a comfortable and relaxing ride, along with very responsive handling. With this mind, it’s worth noting that the next-generation of the Enclave is expected to arrive sometime during the 2024 calendar year. In fact, the Tri-Shield crossover will follow the introduction of the next-gen Chevy Traverse and GMC Acadia.
In regard to the current Enclave, the 2023 model is powered by the naturally aspirated 3.6L V6 LFY gasoline engine, which is rated at 310 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque. This output is routed to the ground via the GM nine-speed automatic transmission. FWD is standard while AWD is optional.
Under the body panels, the Enclave rides on the long-wheelbase version of the GM C1 platform, while production of the 2023 model year kicked off on June 11th, 2022 at the GM Lansing Delta Township plant in Michigan.

Just bought a 2023 enclave. Fantastic vehicle…actually flawless. Had sticker shock but all the advancements over my 2017 Impala especially in safety astounding. I was huge opponent of the $1500 onstar inclusion but when grand kids found out about hot spot it was a hit.. Plus Pandora streaming is fantastic too!
Yeah, just wait til you get the dreaded p0008 engine light code. 5,000 dollar repair. Replace timing chain. This is a problem that Enclave has had since the first one came out. Buick hasn’t seem to care to fix it.
thought they said they fixed it,to keep oil good and at proper levels.
