2024 Chevy Trailblazer Gets Option Package Changes

General Motors unveiled the refreshed 2024 Chevy Trailblazer back in February, debuting a number of important changes and updates, including new styling, an overhauled interior, new standard features, and more. In addition, the 2024 Chevy Trailblazer includes a variety of optional package changes compared to the preceding 2023 Chevy Trailblazer. Now, GM Authority is detailing all of the important option package changes for the 2024 Chevy Trailblazer in the following feature spotlight.

To kick it off, the Driver Confidence and Cruise Package (RPO code WPN) is now the LS Confidence Package, and no longer includes cruise control (RPO code K34), which is now fitted as standard. The LS Confidence Package includes the following content (relevant RPO codes included in parentheses):

• Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert (UKC)
• Rear Cross Traffic Alert (UFG)
• Rear Park Assist (UD7)

Next, we have the LS Convenience Package (RPO code WPG), which is a new addition for the 2024 Chevy Trailblazer and is only available on the LS trim level. The LS Convenience Package includes the following content:

• Remote Start (BTV)
• Deep-tinted rear windows and liftgate (AKO)

Notably, these two features were previously unavailable on the LS trim level.

The Cold Weather Package (RPO code Y19) is also new for the 2024 model year, and is available on the LT trim level. It includes:

• Heated driver and front passenger seats (KA1)
• Heated steering wheel (UVD)
• Wrapped steering wheel (N5F)
• Wrapped shift knob (VY7)

Heated driver and front passenger seats were previously standard on LT trim levels, while the wrapped steering wheel replaces the leather-wrapped steering wheel (RPO code N34). Additionally, the wrapped shift knob replaces the leather-wrapped shift knob. The heated steering wheel, wrapped shift knob, and leather-wrapped steering wheel were previously included in the Premium Seating Package (RPO code PCL) and Adaptive Cruise Control Package (RPO code PGY), both of which are longer available.

The Driver Confidence Package (RPO code ZL5) is available on LT, Activ and RS trims, and includes:

• Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert (UKC)
• Rear Cross Traffic Alert (UFG)
• Rear Park Assist (UD7)

The Convenience Package (RPO code ZL3) is available on LT, Activ and RS trims, and includes:

• Automatic climate control air conditioning (C68)
• One type-A and one type-C charging only USB ports (USS)
• Wireless Charging (K4C)
• 120-volt power outlet (KI6)
• Inside rearview auto-dimming mirror (DD8)
• Driver and front passenger illuminated vanity mirrors, covered, sliding visors (DMS)
• Driver 8-way power seat adjuster (A2X) (LT only)
• Driver 2-way power lumbar (AL9) (LT only)
• Rear center armrest (DA5) (LT only)
• Power liftgate (TB5) (LT only)
• Hands free power liftgate (TC2) (Activ and RS only)

Compared to the 2023 model year, the Convenience Package for the 2024 Chevy Trailblazer drops the 8-inch diagonal color touchscreen display (RPO code UIJ) and memory card receptacle (RPO code MCR), while adding the driver 8-way power seat adjuster (RPO code A2X), driver 2-way power lumbar (RPO code AL9), rear center armrest (RPO code DA5), power liftgate (RPO code TB5), and hands free power liftgate (RPO code TC2).

The Adaptive Cruise Control Package (RPO code ZRG) is new for the 2024 Chevy Trailblazer, and is only available for the LT, adding in adaptive cruise control (RPO code KSG).

The Technology Package (RPO code CWN) becomes the Adaptive Cruise and Sound Package, and is available on Activ and RS trims, throwing in:

• Bose premium 7-speaker system (UQA)
• Adaptive Cruise Control (KSG)

Compared to the 2023 model year, the Technology Package drops the Chevrolet Infotainment 3 Plus system (RPO code IOS), HD radio (RPO code U2L), SiriusXM with 360L, the memory card receptacle (RPO code MCR), wireless Charging (RPO code K4C), the HD Rear Vision Camera (RPO code UVB), enhanced 4.2-inch diagonal multi-color display, Driver Information Center (RPO code UDD), and LED headlamps (RPO code T4L).

Finally, the Dual-pane power panoramic sunroof (RPO code C3U) is now a standalone option on LT, Activ, and RS trim levels, while the Sun and Liftgate Package (RPO code Y88) is no longer offered.

As a reminder, 2024 Chevy Trailblazer offers two engine options, including the turbocharged 1.2L I3 LIH gasoline engine, and the turbocharged 1.3L I3 L3T gasoline engine. The GM VSS-F platform provides the underpinnings, while production takes place at the GM Bupyeong plant in South Korea.
