Per previous GM Authority coverage, the 2024 Cadillac CT5 was originally expected to introduce a refresh for the sedan, but that’s no longer the case. Rather, the CT5’s refresh has been pushed back, with GM Authority sources now reporting that the refresh will debut for either the 2025 model year, or possibly the 2024.5 model year.
When it does debut, the refreshed Cadillac CT5 will usher in a new front end with new upper lighting signatures along the front fenders and larger forward-facing lighting elements, plus an uninterrupted lighting signature that leads down vertically into the corners of the lower bumper.
The current Cadillac CT5 is available with three engine options depending on the trim level selected. These include the turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY gasoline engine, the twin-turbo 3.0L V6 LGY gasoline engine, and the supercharged 6.2L V8 LT4 gasoline engine. The GM Alpha 2 platform provides the underpinnings, while production takes place at the GM Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan.
