2024 Cadillac CT4-V, CT4-V Blackwing Get Four New Paint Colors, Including Yellow

The performance variants of the Cadillac CT4 – which includes the CT4-V and CT4-V Blackwing – have been praised for their athletic prowess and sharp design, particularly that of the latter. Now, the 2024 Cadillac CT4-V and CT4-V Blackwing super sedans will feature an entirely new lineup of paint options for the upcoming model year.

The 2024 CT4-V and CT4-V Blackwing will be available in one of nine paint colors, including these four new hues (relevant color code in parenthesis):

  • Cyber Yellow Metallic (GCP)
  • Velocity Red (G7C)
  • Coastal Blue Metallic (GJV)
  • Black Diamond Tricoat (GLK)

It’s worth noting that all these colors are available as an extra-charge option.

The 2024 Cadillac CT4-V and CT4-V Blackwing will not be available in this color.

As previously mentioned, these four new paint colors replace the following 2023 CT4-V and CT4-V Blackwing paint options:

The following paint colors are carried over from the 2023 model year:

  • Argent Silver Metallic (GXD)
  • Black Raven (GBA)
  • Midnight Steel Metallic (GXN)
  • Radiant Red Tintcoat (GNT)
  • Summit White (GAZ)

An interesting piece worth noting is that Cyber Yellow Metallic features the same color code as Chevy‘s Nitro Yellow Metallic and GMC‘s Solar Flare Metallic, available on models such as the Chevy Colorado, Chevy Blazer and GMC Canyon. In addition, Velocity Red features the same color code as Chevy’s Red Hot and GMC’s Cardinal Red, available on the Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra, while Coastal Blue Metallic features the same color code as Chevy’s Riptide Blue Metallic, available on the upcoming Chevy Blazer EV and Chevy Equinox EV.

In regard to current output figures, the Cadillac CT4-V is powered by the turbocharged 2.7L I4 L3B gasoline engine, rated at 325 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque. Meanwhile, the CT4-V Blackwing is motivated by the twin-turbocharged 3.6L V6 LF4 gasoline engine, rated at 472 horsepower and 445 pound-feet of torque.

Under the body panels is the GM Alpha 2 platform, while North American production takes place at the GM Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan.

  1. Yellow? Cadillac? I’m not sure if that’s two things that go well together. I’d find it difficult to believe that Cadillac perhaps conducted a panel study of current or potential Cadillac customers and they all went bonkers for a yellow sedan.

    1. I passed on a yellow GTO 18 years ago. I’m ready for the yellow Cadillac now.

  2. So this new blue is the same on the E-Ray Corvette too then? That color is gorgeous.

  3. Was really hoping to see the new emerald lake metallic offered on the 2024 XT4, along with the latte. And honestly instead of eye-searing yellow, they should have gone with a mature but rich purple like Audi and Porsche have. Very disappointing. Looks like summit white or argent silver for me now, unless that blue works out.

    1. The Black Diamond, if the same color as on the Gen 2 CTS V, is GORGEOUS! Very elegant and rich looking.

    2. The argent silver is really a light gray, -but it’s the old Cadillac gray, and really looks good with the bright trim and wheels. I’m surprised but I like it, and am not complaining. -’23 AWD, PL, Argent, Platinum, with navigation.
