General Motors unveiled the refreshed 2024 Buick Encore GX this past February, revealing a wealth of updates and changes for the crossover. Among these was updated exterior styling, an updated cabin, the new Avenir trim level, and new tech features. Now, interested customers can spec the 2024 Buick Encore GX as they see fit using the official online configurator.
A total of three trim levels are available for configuration, starting with the base-level Preferred, and followed by the mid-range Sport Touring. The new Avenir trim level slots in as the range-topper of the group.
Notably, the refreshed 2024 Buick Encore GX is the first of Buick’s North American models to adopt the brand’s latest Tri-Shield logo. In addition, the refreshed crossover adopts styling cues from the Buick Wildcat EV, as well as the latest Buick Enclave and Buick Envision, with curving, elegant lines from tip to tail. Both 18-inch and 19-inch wheel options are offered.
Inside the cabin, the 2024 Buick Encore offers the new Virtual Cockpit system, which provides 19-inches of screen space. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are both included as standard, as is the Buick Driver Confidence package.
As for the greasy bits, the 2024 Buick Encore GX is equipped with the turbocharged 1.2L I3 LIH gasoline engine, rated at a maximum of 137 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque. The 1.2L I3 LIH engine is standard on Preferred trim levels with front-wheel drive. The turbocharged 1.3L I3 L3T gasoline engine is also available, putting down 155 horsepower and 174 pound-feet of torque. The 1.3L I3 L3T is optional on Preferred trim levels with front-wheel drive, and standard for Sport Touring and Avenir trim levels.
A CVT is standard across the lineup for models equipped with front wheel drive, while models equipped with all-wheel drive include the GM nine-speed automatic transmission.
Under the skin, the 2024 Buick Encore GX rides on the GM VSS-F vehicle set. Pricing starts at $26,895.

LOL! Spec’d out an AWD ST just for fun. White is the only color that is no charge. All other colors are $495, except for Tricoat White which is $1095 extra.
My final spec was $31,885. The lease “deal” was $451/mo for 48 months with $3639 down. So basically $25.3K to lease a $31.9K vehicle for 4 years, Financing it for 60 months was only $70 more per month.
