With a powerful engine, classic styling including the space-age fins, and a lineup of modern updates, this amazing ’57 Chevy Bel Air could end up in your driveway thanks to a new sweepstakes.
Fresh from a painstaking frame-off restoration, this Chevy Bel Air is motivated by a 350ci V-8 engine featuring aluminum heads, an Edelbrock intake, and a four-barrel carburetor. It also sports a head-turning coat of Inca Silver exterior paint accented by shining chrome, plus all the Fifties flair the Bow Tie’s designers could give this jewel of automotive Americana.

The ’57 Chevy Bel Air Dream Giveaway is hosted in partnership with Alex Taylor Racing and the proceeds will benefit both children’s and veterans’ charities. The sponsors will also pay the federal prize taxes so the lucky winner can enjoy this Fifties classic with no worries about needing to pay for their new set of sweet wheels.
This ’57 Chevy Bel Air Coupe received a ground-up, fully documented restoration that makes it look like it just rolled off the assembly line. Every step of the process was photographed and the winner will get both the pictures and the receipts detailing all the hard work and skill that went into reviving this four-wheeled masterpiece.
Not only are the paintwork and chrome restored to a minty fresh gleam, but the interior features new Dark Grey simulated leather that’s exactly like the original. The headliner, doors, and carpeting match the color precisely. The dash features handsome modern analog gauges with oil pressure, voltage, and water temperature displayed by an auxiliary gauge cluster.
The winner can enjoy plenty of modern conveniences in the Chevy Bel Air Coupe’s interior, too. A full restomod was done, giving the car modern climate control (air conditioning and heating), a stereo, and a tilt steering wheel, among other details.
The restomod enhancements don’t end with cabin comfort, but extend to controls, too. The Chevy Bel Air turns on a dime with power steering and the driver can show off their stick shift skills with a new five-speed manual transmission specifically engineered to equip classic Chevrolet cars. The high-performance carbureted 350 cubic inch V-8 crate engine puts ample horsepower and torque at the driver’s command.
Braking is achieved with power assisted four-wheel disc brakes, while 17-inch five-spoke mag wheels and performance radial tires are ready to grip the road and turn engine output into action.
Now, this breathtaking ’57 Chevy Bel Air Coupe can be yours. Every donation made to charity through this sweepstakes will grant a chance to win, but GM Authority readers can use promo code GM0423B for bonus tickets.

Very nice. Not overdone.
WOW, very nicely done and the fact it is certified at every step of the rebuild and restoration is certainly a BONUS!
That is not a bel.air . It has a post between front & back windows
That’s right, it has a post. This is a Bel Air sedan. If it had no post, it would be a Bel Air hardtop. Body style and model are two different things.
The first Bel Airs in the early 1950’s were 2 door hardtops only, then in 1953 the Bel Air designation was applied to all top of the line Chevrolet models, including sedans. Then in 1958, Chevrolet brought out the Impala as what essentially was a different Chevrolet from the A pillar back to the rear bumper. The ’58 Impala was either a 2 door hardtop or a convertible.
It was in 1959 when the Impala name took over the top range of models, with Bel Air dropping down to the middle range, and the el-cheapo Chevrolets at the bottom becoming Biscaynes.
Interestingly the last Bel Air 2 door hardtops were in 1962, and featured the attractive ‘bubble top’ design carried over from all the Chevy ’61 2-door HTs, while the ’62 Impala 2drHTs adopted a bit more formal T-Bird sort of design.
