Although officially discontinued all the way back in 2002, the Pontiac Firebird still boasts a dedicated following from Pontiac Trans Am fans and enthusiasts. In fact, this devotion is so strong that some companies currently manufacture heavily modified Chevy Camaro units that resemble what they believe a modern-day Firebird would look like. One such Trans Am recently popped up, and it’s for grabs.
Listed for sale in Florida on social media, this 2020 Pontiac Trans Am Outlaw was built under a licensing agreement by TransAm Worldwide, and is only one of 12 Outlaw edition vehicles built on the sixth-generation Chevy Camaro platform. Of those 12 muscle cars, only three are painted black and gold like this unit, further adding to the rarity.
What makes these builds stand out from the crowd is the exterior. Glass T-tops have been grafted onto the roof, while custom carbon fiber body panels help to differentiate this Trans Am from its Camaro foundation. There’s a special two-tone interior colorway, along with 20-inch snowflake wheels wrapped in 285/30R18 front and 305/30R18 rear tires.
The design is cool and all, but what about the greasy bits? Not to be overstated by the styling, this Trans Am Outlaw is powered by a 6.2L V8 LT1 gasoline engine that’s been upgraded with the Stage II package. This performance package includes a Magnuson supercharger, headers, and a cold air intake, all of which boost output up to the tune of 650 horsepower.
A GM eight-speed automatic transmission directs the power to the ground. In the ad, the seller states that they can even add more horsepower at the buyer’s expense if so desired.
The ad for this impressive build has this 2020 Pontiac Trans Am Outlaw listed for $210,000. What do you think, dear reader? Is this Trans Am worth the hefty price tag? Let us know in the comment section below.

I have a 1986 Machiavelli 1of 12 in the world EVER BUILT by Henderson motor company. How much is my car worth????
Nice nice cars Warren, wish they would’ve opted for the 350 instead of the 305, it is what it Is. Cars are still so great to see! Haven’t heard of one being sold since Barrett Jackson back in 2016 where one hammered sold at $38,500.
I had a 79 trans am black on black no bird no nothing yet if had the I would love to have one
No ram air???
Why would Trans Am put automatic transmissions in any of these cars? Many of The 70/SS Chevelle tribute cars are getting automatics too. Real cars have three pedals!
