The NASCAR Chevy Silverado RST race trucks are off to a promising start to the weekend at Texas Motor Speedway, proving that they were the machines to beat during the qualifying session on Saturday, April 1st, 2023.
Nick Sanchez, driver of the No. 2 Chevy Silverado, posted the best lap around Texas with a time of 29.109 seconds at 185.51 mph. Starting beside him will be the No. 51 Silverado of Jack Wood, with a time of 29.204 seconds at 184.906 mph.
In third will be the No. 98 Ford F-150 of Ty Majeski, followed by the No. 11 Toyota Tundra of Corey Heim in fourth, thanks to his time of 29.221 seconds at 184.799 mph. Rounding out the top five will be the No. 42 Silverado of Carson Hocevar, who posted a time of 29.237 seconds at 184.697 mph.
The green flag will drop at Texas on Saturday, April 1st, 2023 at 4:30 p.m. ET. It’s worth noting that the Truck Series is the only NASCAR division racing at Texas this weekend, as the Xfinity and Cup Series are both at Richmond Raceway this weekend.
