NASCAR Chevy Truck Series Teams Tail Fords At Dirt Bristol 2023: Video

The NASCAR Chevy Silverado RST race trucks in the Truck Series just couldn’t catch The Blue Oval on the Bristol dirt on April 8th, 2023, trailing a pair of dominant Ford F-150 racers across the line.

William Byron, who regularly drives the No. 24 Chevy Camaro ZL1 at the Cup Series level, took control of the No. 51 Silverado for the Bristol dirt race. While he didn’t lead any laps, he kept the No. 51 Silverado near the front of the field for most of the race, and ran good enough to place third across the line when it was all said and done.

The next-best Bow Tie racer was the No. 23 Silverado of Grant Enfinger, who placed fifth, followed by the No. 35 Silverado of Jake Garcia in sixth.

Meanwhile, Joey Logano, driver of the No. 66 Ford F-150, led almost every lap, sweeping both stage wins and the checkered flag. He was followed in second place by the No. 98 F-150 of Ty Majeski.

Majeski’s No. 98 F-150 continues to lead in overall points, while the best Chevy racer is the No. 19 of Christian Eckes, who is currently fifth in the standings.

I told you all my F100 Minivan/Pickup was the fastest! See? No more 5.3’s for me now that i switched to Ford and am constantly looking back. This is why I’m here and on all the Chevy blog sites calling the Chevy loyalists names like Hillbilly and fanboy and all – because I have no regrets whatsoever about “buying” my F100 Minivan – with the Ecoblow engine. Fastest one to the Costco carwash on Saturdays!
