As a reminder, the 2024 Silverado HD is standard with the naturally aspirated 6.6L V8 L8T gasoline engine, rated at 401 horsepower and 464 pound-feet of torque, across all trim levels. The optional 6.6L V8 L5P turbodiesel Duramax engine, which has been uprated for the refresh to 470 horsepower and 975 pound-feet of torque, is also available.
As far as transmission options go, both engines feature the Allison-branded 10-speed automatic transmission as standard.
Under the skin, the Chevy Silverado HD rides on a more-capable variant of the GM T1 platform, which it shares with its corporate platform-mate, the 2024 GMC Sierra HD. Production officially kicked off in March 2023 at the GM Flint plant in Michigan and few weeks later the GM Oshawa plant in Canada.

GM should give a mirror option
Yawn. I can recall days before GM offered dark gray and not dark gray. Not very imaginative on GM’s part. Their interior people have been phoning it in for a long time now. Other than changing what shade of light gray is offered theres been little change in almost 20 yrs on the full size trucks. When they bring blue and red interiors back, then we will have something to talk about.
I have had 3 high country’s and I would love to see them go back to all saddle brown again
I’d like a cocoa dune similar to my 14 ltz
Not sure why you show pictures, they all look the same. A saddle color would be huge draw and enhances any interior.
Like Henry Ford is reported to have said ” you can have any color you want as long as it is black”.
Much to do about nothing……….. they are all still dull black interiors regardless of the hype.
How about some real choices of interior colors. For that matter how about some exterior choices also.
The “bean counters” have taken over the auto industry. They give you very few options which greatly reduces
the inventory of colors and cost. Yet when they do offer an option it is priced high.
You cannot get HD cooling without ordering the towing package…… I am discussed with the industry.
