The long wheelbase, crossover coupe roofline, and aggressive profile are design elements GM borrowed from the Buick Wildcat EV concept for the 2024 Buick Envista. The Sport Touring trim level rides on all-black 18-inch wheels as standard, with 19-inch wheels optional. The Avenir trim level gets standard Pearl Nickel 19-inch wheels instead.

The 2024 Buick Envista cabin offers good legroom, 19 diagonal inches of combined LCD screens incorporating an 11-inch diagonal infotainment screen, and a standard flat-bottom steering wheel. Standard technological bits include Automatic Emergency BrakingLane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, and IntelliBeam automatic high beams among others, as part of the Buick driver confidence package.

The 2024 Buick Envista is motivated by a single available powerplant, the turbocharged 1.2L I3 LIH gasoline engine, which develops a maximum of 136 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque.

Pricing for the new 2024 Buick Envista starts at $23,495, including the destination freight charge. The new crossover will be available to order in the U.S. starting in the later part of summer 2023.

    1. Nice colors, all with AutoZone black wheels.

      1. The ST trim has the black wheels. Silver wheels are available on other trims.

  2. Oh but it’s such a GREAT VALUE! It’s a Chevy Aveo underneath, and they charge you for any color other than rental fleet white. Pathetic

    1. It is amusing now they are up charging for a color as it seems now on many models just to make an extra buck as if its an option. How far we have come to scam the buyer from what was.

  3. The vast majority of vehicle buyers don’t care about engine size.

    1. Wrong is so wrong.

I’ll give a real and perfect example from my own driving experience. I had a 2018 Buick Encore with the smaller HP version of the 1.4L and 6 speed trans. Overall, I’d say that was quite similar to this 1.2L as the HP was a little more on my Encore but the torque was just a little less. So let’s call it as about even. In 2 1/2 years driving that Encore, never once was there an issue with power. Never was there an issue with merging into traffic and that traffic in LA can be very unforgiving. Never once did I have an issue with keeping up with that traffic when going faster on the freeways. I even drove that vehicle from California to IL and back (total of just over 4,000 miles round trip). I could easily cruise at 80 mph all day long while still getting over 30 mpg. I had zero issues with power going through the mountains. And keep in mind that this 1.2L has the higher torque (148 vs 162) and it’s that torque number that will help more in the driving you talk about. The 2 HP difference (2 less on this 1.2L) will not be something 99.9% of drivers will ever notice. And finally, that 6 speed trans is a very good one that I’d take any day over the 8 or 9 speeds or the CVT’s.

This Envista will do quite well and nobody will be coming back and bit**ing about the stupid stuff you and others keep saying on here.

    3. where is your PC made, oh let me guess China !!

  6. Made in Korea and China and imported to America.
GM is shifting more products offshore in a time when we need to build products in the USA.

  7. Winner all day long. The customers of this car care about style over substance. The rest of you are showing your age.

    1. This is not “style”. It looks like a Ford Escape, Just what we don’t need are more CUV’s and SUV’s.

  8. So the more expensive and “exclusive” Avenir trim offers fewer color choices and no exclusive colors. That’s GM marketing for ya. Duh! 🙄

  9. GM has done it again Another pathetic vehicle in the marketplace. Really a 3 cyl engine, probably pushing 3500 lbs another car can’t get out of its own way. I don’t get it? Don’t tell me it’s getting 40 mpg because that a lot of hooey. I’m now relieved that I bought my 400 HP Ford Explorer ST and getting a solid 20MPG all around.## And this is coming from a GM fan at least from 1908 through the 1980’s!!!

    1. Actually, it weighs just about 4200lbs so an even worse scenario. It is also not very efficient. Rated at 28city/32hwy, 30 in mixed driving. It’s an underpowered, entry level economy car. There is a lot of hype surrounding this and the new Chevy Trax. That hype will quickly get extinguished once the press gets a hold of these and sees them for what they really are. Buyers will initially go for it based on price and the fact that GM plans to flood the dealers with these things over the next 8 months. Word will get out quickly if they are less than ideal.

      Reply
      1. I suspect the word will get out what a great value they are and the high build quality will seal the deal.
We have a 2021 TrailBlazer AWD in the family and this vehicle has been one of the best new cars in the family for years.
It was one of the first out and no problems after almost 3 years and 50,000 kilometers
These Korean assembled vehicles have been very successful for GM , if only they could build enough to meet demand.
Buyers of both the Envista and Trax will be very happy with their choices and i suspect other makers will follow suit.
I think back when the original Encore and Trax were introduced many posted on here that these would never sell and how wrong GM was to bring them here . We now know GM pretty much created the segment.

        1. Buyers are gobbling up the new Lincoln Nautilus which is made in China while Farley complains about EV prices from Chinese competitors. 🤷‍♂️

  10. The Avenir should come in some extra exclusive colors instead of having a more limited palette.

  11. No offense, but I’ve noticed that GMA has been taking down quite a few comments as of late. I’ve even had a couple of mine removed. Not sure how I feel about this, as it truly takes away from the entire comments section. Don’t take this the wrong way, I am not for someone leaving vulgar and/or truly disrespectful comments on here. This is not the place for that and we all (me too) need to keep things civil. But some of the comments they removed, although some negative towards me, should still be up. Which brings me to why I’m leaving this comment here and now below my other comment. Looking at my above comment makes zero sense now and should also be removed IMO. The person I was responding to had theirs taken down, thus mine is no longer needed.

  12. I’m assuming the copper and orange ones will be similar to previous colors offered on the Encore. Whatever, I guess they’ll be pretty.

  13. Why do all brands have the same six colors? Would love to see a light teal, different shades of blue besides the royal and navy. Had a beautiful Oldsmobile years ago that was a beige with a hint of rose. Get creative GM and I don’t mean those wacky electric colors
