Another refresh for the ’24 Traverse. For me it may be worth the wait to see what’s offered. I’m trying to hold on for that “larger” GMC Acadia but just not sure I have the “waiting patience”. We’ll see.
If I were you I wouldn’t wait for ’24. The ’23 to ’24 transition will probably get the same treatment as the ’22 to ’23 Colorado transition. Buy a ’22 Colorado Z71 or ZR2, they are fully loaded. Buy a ’23 Colorado Z71 or ZR2 (putting aside the fact you can’t get them), you get a base WT interior unless you pony up an additional $7K to buy option packages to restore all the content GM removed from the truck. Additionally, you may find that the ’24 Traverse no longer offers the V6 engine, meaning you will be stuck with a Turbo 2.7 4-cylinder that gets the same or worse MPG than the ’23’s V6.
But up to you.
You mean the 2.7L L3B that has a whopping 164 lb-ft more of torque? That one? The one that could actually make the thing scoot and tow? If they put the old, anemic V6 in without a turbo, the vehicle is toast.
Yeah…. I think I’ll wait.
Good thinking, I do prefer to buy at the model years beginning but that is something to ponder.
Thanks, other perspectives are always welcome.
