Lol, just in time for it to be discontinued.

    1. JL: GM is the master at perfecting things just in time to kill it. Just a couple examples right off the top of my head:
*5.7L V8 diesel. Junk in late 1977 and very good by 1983 to drop it in 1985.
*1982 Cimarron beyond inadequate. Very good by 1987. Dropped in 1988.
*1987 Allante not so good. Much better by 1991 and dropped in 1993.
*HT4100 abysmal in 1982. Much improved by 1986. Changed to 4.5 and then 4.9 and then dropped.
*Northstar V8 a nice engine in 1993 & problematic. Changed by 2001 and perfected till dropped around 2011.
*1980 Citation mostly junk. Major improvements by 1982 and dropped a couple years later.
*How many millions (maybe billions) spent on the Volt and dropped after second model run.
*XLR, ELR, Reatta, Saturn, Hummer (then and now) and soooooo many more.

GM: We just can’t introduce anything that’s already great and instead must perfect it over the years just to drop it. Stick with something? Why?

      1. Dan,

Sorry to hear about your Bolt situation. Not a good look for gm to pull the rug out from their current EV owners.

        1. Thanks, but as we all know this isn’t the first time GM has done this and I’m certain won’t be the last. But it will be the last time on me!

I truly hope GM managers of some sort come on these sites and read what the real people and buyers are saying. And I hope they read very clearly that the decisions they continue to make are driving life-long GM buyers like me away. I am truly done with GM.

            1. Who says that I or others can’t be on a site about GM even if I/we are no longer going to buy their products? And this all just happened yesterday. I just got my Bolt less than 6 months ago. I’m still a 3 car home and all three are GM. So why would I not come read about what’s going on in the auto world?

      2. GM screwed up big time dropping the Volt.
Todays buyers DO NOT want Range Anxiety – Period.
Volt was the answer, but Mary at Gm destroyed that concept,

  2. And the corker: This is announced on April 25 and folks are given exactly 5 days to “take advantage” of this lease offer by May 1st. How generous!
