As previously reported back in November 2022 by GM Authority, the Buick Envista was confirmed by GM President Mark Reuss to be headed to the North American market. Now, the all-new Tri-Shield crossover is officially here, and today, we’re taking a closer look at the mid-grade 2024 Buick Envista ST in the following GM Authority feature spotlight.
The 2024 Buick Envista trim lineup, ranging from bottom to top, consists of Preferred, Sport Touring (ST), and Avenir. The Envista ST trim is positioned as the mid-range variant, slotting right between the base Preferred and range-topping Avenir trim levels.
On the exterior, the entire 2024 Envista lineup features Buick’s latest design language, which draws inspiration from the Buick Wildcat EV concept. Highlights include a long wheelbase, a crossover coupe roofline, and LED-accented headlamps. The ST trim features a unique grille design, along with gloss black mirror caps, bodyside moldings as well as front and rear lower fascias.
In regard to the rolling stock, the ST is equipped with exclusive 18-inch high-gloss black painted wheels as standard, with exclusive 19-inch black painted wheels also available. Meanwhile, a Watts Link suspension system is offered as an option.
On the inside, the cabin is highlighted by 19 inches of combined LCD screens, including an 11-inch diagonal infotainment screen. ST logos are embroidered on the front headrests, while heated front seats are optional. A flat-bottom steering wheel is standard across the lineup.
All 2024 Buick Envista trim levels, including the Envista ST, will ship as standard with the Buick Confidence ensemble of safety and driver assistance technologies, which contains the following:
- Automatic Emergency Braking
- Front Pedestrian Braking
- Forward Collision Alert
- Following Distance Indicator
- Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning
- IntelliBeam auto high beams
It’s worth noting that the Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert features are also available as an option.
Under the hood, all 2024 Buick Envista models will be equipped with the turbocharged 1.2L I3 LIH gasoline engine, rated at 136 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque. The GM six-speed automatic transmission will serve as the only transmission option.
Pricing for the 2024 Buick Envista ST starts at $25,195, destination freight charge included. Production will kick off May 2023, with online ordering set to begin later this summer.

Is this the ChiCom Buick taking jobs from North Americans and giving aid and comfort to our world rival and future enemy?
You guys need a geography lesson. South Korea =/= China.
Apparently the U.S. market can’t get enough of these blacked-out packages, but for me, I’m sick of it. To my eye, it just looks terribly cheap.
