These Three 2023 Buick Enclave Wheels Are Currently Unavailable To Order

Three LPO, or dealer-installed, wheel options for the 2023 Buick Enclave are currently unavailable to order, GM Authority has learned, because of supplier constraints.

Usually, Buick Enclave units ordered with LPO alloy wheels are shipped to the dealership from the factory with temporary transit wheels attached. The dealer removes the transit wheels and ships them back to the factory, installing the LPO wheels before delivering the vehicle to the customer.

The three wheel options currently unavailable are listed here, with RPO codes in parentheses.

  • 20-inch machined face aluminum wheels with Satin Graphite painted pockets, LPO (RPO code S1T)
  • 20-inch Midnight Silver painted aluminum wheels, LPO (RPO code S2N)
  • 20-inch Chrome wheels, LPO (RPO code SNT)

The 20-inch machined face aluminum S1T wheels are ordinarily available only on the Essence and Premium trim levels of the 2023 Buick Enclave as part of the Touring Package (RPO code PCI). The S1T wheels are not available as a standalone option or on the Avenir trim. The Touring Package, an LPO dealer-installed option priced at $2,925, is also unavailable and consists of the elements listed below.

  • 20-inch machined face aluminum wheels with Satin Graphite painted pockets, LPO (RPO code S1T)
  • Molded assist steps, LPO (RPO code VXW)
  • P255/55R20 all-season blackwall tires (RPO code Q3N)

The 20-inch Midnight Silver S2N wheels are optional on the Essence and Premium trim levels, priced at $2,195, and are not offered at all on the Avenir trim. The 20-inch Chrome SNT wheels are available on all trim levels for a price of $3,395. All three wheel options are wrapped in P255/55R20 all-season blackwall tires (RPO code Q3N).

Three other options packages also previously became unavailable for the 2023 Buick Enclave in addition to the Touring Package. The other three packages likewise included the LPO molded assist steps (VZW) option, which is also currently unavailable to order as a standalone. The three packages and their RPO codes are the Black Accent Package, LPO (PDM), the Hit the Road Package, LPO (PCX), and the Luxury Package, LPO (PCL).

Another feature of the 2023 Buick Enclave, the power-folding 60/40 split third-row bench seat (RPO code AS8), has been under constraint since August 2022. GM is producing affected units with the manual-folding 60/40 split third-row bench seat in place of the power-folding feature. The affected vehicles are identified with a window sticker and a credit is issued to purchasers.

The 2023 Buick Enclave received a “recommended” rating from Consumer Reports in January, the first time the nameplate has been given this recognition. The Enclave scored 76 points out of a maximum 100, with road test performance, transmission and braking, driving experience, and comfort among its strengths. Its weaker ratings included reliability, emergency handling, and value.

The Buick Enclave got only minor updates as part of the 2023 model year. However, much bigger changes can be expected for the Buick Enclave in calendar year 2024, when GM plans to introduce the full-size crossover’s next generation.

Currently, the 2023 Buick Enclave is motivated by the naturally aspirated 3.6L V6 LFY gasoline engine, developing 310 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque. The V6 is paired with a GM nine-speed automatic transmission, while FWD is standard and AWD is optional.

Under the body panels, the 2023 Enclave rides on the GM C1 platform, which also underpins the Chevy Blazer, the Chevy Traverse, the GMC Acadia, the Cadillac XT5, and the Cadillac XT6.

  1. Great article! Well written! Thanks for publishing! I’m getting ready to buy one, and this is precisely what I needed to know.

I still wish GM would provide hard-copy vehicle brochures. GM’s online build process is challenging to utilize, especially when comparing brands and models. With all of the standardizing GM has gone through the last 25 years, you think the word “common” would have entered their thinking on customer builds across brands. Try to build an Enclave, Traverse, and Arcadia and compare. Impossible! If you do, you will understand. Yes, brands should have distinct characteristics, though not the online build processes or results. Easy comps should be the goal, not hard to accomplish. This should be passed to Mark and his marketing leadership team for consideration.
