The 2023 GMC Acadia arrives as the seventh model year for the second-gen crossover, introducing only a selection of updates and changes ahead of the release of the third generation for the 2024 model year. Now, however, GM Authority has learned that the 2023 GMC Acadia is currently unavailable to order with several 20-inch wheel options.
In total, four 20-inch wheel options are now unavailable to order for the 2023 GMC Acadia. Each was previously offered as an LPO-level option, which means they were installed by the dealer, rather than at the factory when the vehicle was initially produced.
The four 20-inch wheel options in question include (relevant RPO codes listed in parentheses):
- 20-inch bright machined-face wheels with High Gloss Black painted spokes and pockets (SNV)
- 20-inch bright machined-face wheels with Satin Graphite painted spokes and pockets (SHA)
- 20-inch Sterling Silver painted aluminum wheels (SH9)
- 20-inch Chrome wheels (SOO)
The first three 20-inch wheel options listed are normally offered as optional on SLE, SLT, and Denali trim levels, but were not offered at all for the AT4 trim level. Pricing was set at $2,395 for SNV and SHA wheels, while SH9 wheels were priced at $2,295.
Meanwhile, the 20-inch Chrome wheels (RPO code SOO) are normally optional for SLT and Denali trim levels, but were not offered at all for SLE or AT4 trim levels. Pricing for the SOO wheels was set at $3,395.
Per previous GM Authority coverage, the 2023 GMC Acadia is also unavailable to order with Light Stone Metallic paint (paint code G5D) and Hunter Metallic paint (paint code GED).
As a reminder, the 2023 GMC Acadia offers two engine options, including the turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY gasoline engine, as well as the naturally aspirated 3.6L V6 LGX gasoline engine. Both engine options connect to the GM 9-speed automatic transmission. Under the body panels, the GMC Acadia rides on the GM C1 platform, while production takes place at the GM Spring Hill plant in Tennessee.
