The 2023 GMC Yukon is the third model year for the full-size SUV’s fifth generation, following the 2022 model year with only a few small updates and changes. Now, GM Authority has learned that the 2023 GMC Yukon is once again available to order with a specific trailering package.
The package in question is the Enhanced Trailer Technology package. Back in August, GM Authority was the first to report that this package was unavailable to order.
Tagged with RPO code ZM1, the Enhanced Trailer Technology package is priced at $750 and includes the following content (relevant RPO codes listed in parentheses):
- Trailer Camera Provisions (TRG)
- Trailering Assist Guidelines (THS)
- Auxiliary Trailer Camera (TRO)
To note, the Auxiliary Trailer Camera feature is an LPO-level option, which means that it is installed by the dealer, rather than at the factory when the vehicle is initially produced.
The Enhanced Trailer Technology package is available for 2023 GMC Yukon AT4, Denali, and Denali Ultimate trim levels. The package is not offered for SLE or SLT trim levels.
On the 2023 GMC Yukon AT4, the Enhanced Trailer Technology package requires the Max Trailering Package (RPO code NHT, $465), the Technology Package (RPO code CWM, $1,150), and the Trailer Tire Pressure Monitor Sensors feature (RPO code PTT, $50).
On the 2023 GMC Yukon Denali, the Enhanced Trailer Technology package requires the Max Trailering Package (RPO code NHT, $465) and the Trailer Tire Pressure Monitor Sensors feature (RPO code PTT, $50).
On the 2023 GMC Yukon Denali Ultimate, the Enhanced Trailer Technology package requires Trailer Tire Pressure Monitor Sensors feature (RPO code PTT, $50).
As a reminder, the latest fifth-generation GMC Yukon offers a trio of engine options, including the naturally aspirated 5.3L V8 L84 gasoline engine, the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine, and the 3.0L I6 LM2 turbodiesel Duramax engine. Under the body panels, we find the GM T1 platform, with production taking place at the GM Arlington plant in Texas.
