In addition to announcing the refreshed 2024 Cadillac XT4 in Canada and in the Middle East, General Motors also confirmed the arrival of Cadillac‘s updated compact crossover in Mexico.
The refreshed 2024 Cadillac XT4‘s introduction in Mexico was confirmed by the automaker’s local subsidiary, whose product portfolio is made up exclusively of utility vehicles. The Cadillac XT4 was the brand’s best-selling model in the Mexican from the time it launched up until the arrival of the fifth-generation Cadillac Escalade.
“The XT4 balance of dynamic style, drivability and luxury has made it a favorite for many new Cadillac customers,” said Global Cadillac Vice President, Rory Harvey. “Now [the 2024 Cadillac XT4] with enhancements including our 33-inch-diagonal LED Color Touchscreen Display and new safety features, it will further demand a second look,” he added.
As we have reported following the model’s global debut last month, the refreshed 2024 Cadillac XT4 received major design changes to its front fascia and its cabin, while adopting the brand’s latest technological innovations. In fact, the most substantial improvement to the 2024 XT4 is the redesigned dashboard hosting a new 9K-resolution, 33-inch LED touchscreen, the most sophisticated infotainment display in its class.
On a mechanical level, the 2024 Cadillac XT4 maintains the same powertrain of the current model year, composed of the well-known 2.0L I4 LSY engine that develops 235 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, coupled exclusively to GM’s nine-speed automatic transmission. Depending on the variant chosen, the crossover can be equipped with standard FWD or optional AWD, along with selectable Tour, Sport and Snow/Ice driving modes.
The refreshed 2024 Cadillac XT4 is expected to officially arrive in Mexico at the end of this year, several months after the model’s sales start in the U.S. next summer. The exact date, equipment levels and other details of the 2024 XT4 for the Latin country will be announced as its launch approaches.

A very welcomed improvement for the XT4.
Will continue to sell well but as of now no-one comes close to the Escalade, since the new gen debuted they are everywhere, sames for the Yukon and Suburban.
