The 2024 GMC Sierra HD is finally here, as production of the refreshed heavy-duty pickup truck kicked off just last month. For any enthusiasts or prospective customers who may be interested in a 2024 Sierra HD, here’s a breakdown of the 15 wheel options GM currently offers for the revised pickup.
As we can see, there eight factory-installed wheel designs, sized from 17 to 20 inches, and seven LPO or dealer-installed wheel sets that are shipped directly to the dealership. When LPO wheels are selected, the Sierra rolls off the assembly line on transit aluminum wheels, which are then sent back to the factory once the dealer installs the optional wheel set.
Unsurprisingly, the Denali and Denali Ultimate trims get the most choices, while the entry-level Pro, SLE and SLT are mostly limited to 17- and 18-inch wheels. Pricing for the 20-inch LPO wheels ranges from $2,950 to $3,995.

As a reminder, the 2024 GMC Sierra HD lineup received a mid-cycle refresh that brought updates to the exterior, interior, and powertrain.
Under the hood, the 2024 Sierra HD is powered by one of two powerplant options. These engine choices include the naturally aspirated 6.6L V8 L8T gasoline engine equipped as standard on most trims, rated at 401 horsepower and 464 pound-feet of torque, and the optional 6.6L V8 L5P turbodiesel Duramax engine, uprated to 470 horsepower and 975 pound-feet of torque. It’s worth noting that the diesel engine is standard on the range-topping Denali Ultimate trim level.
As for structure, the Sierra HD rides on a more-capable version of the GM T1 platform, while production takes place at the GM Flint plant in Michigan.

This info is inaccurate. The 3500HD PRO has 18 inch steel wheels – RPO PYT as standard fitment. Not an option. And they are only available on the base PRO model. The 2500H PROD has the 17 inch steel wheels. Might want to specify this difference too.
Why does the Silverado HD get 22” optionals’s and not GMC?
Perhaps because GMC is marketed to adults not residing in a “home” that also has wheels?
Great looking wheels. Honestly I don’t understand why so many guys go with ugly, tacky aftermarket wheels when the factory wheels look this good.
The problem isn’t solely with the selection, though we can debate whether the Denali&ultimate wheels are ugly, fugly,or just ill-matched to the styling of the truck. The problem is that they charge an outrageous amount to simply choose a different style. In the case of a Denali, you are paying around $3200 in The base price for the stock wheels. To choose a different, equal quality wheel, they want another 4k. No credit given for the original wheels you aren’t going to receive. Most folks figure out that they can buy nice aftermarket wheels for less than $2k, sell the factory for $1k and be 3k ahead. Heck, you can spend 5k on aftermarket, subtract the 1k from trading in the OEM and have AMAZING wheels for the same net price gm wants.
Agree, the 3K MIGHT be tolerable IF they still gave you the stock wheels, to sell or for snows, etc, but “instead of” is grossly overpriced. I doubt the quality is any different, so really no justification for the price other than they can and if someone will pay it, I guess why not. But to your point, they are more than competing with the aftermarket for those that are willing to take the extra time. Guess it’d be interesting to see how many they sell, but I don’t see many around here for what ever that is worth.
Hi I’m hoping someone can help me ,I like the 8 x180 ,8lug 20in x8.5″ wheels on 17 2500.. the 24 gmc 2500 denali has same wheel specs but dealer says won’t fit ,says caliper is to big or rotor but still the rim is same size ? Can someone help
This not show the rears for the dually.
Almost anything but black.
Seriously, the 20s already impair the ride, demand expensive tires, and are susceptible to damage. I wish they still offered a high-end 18″ choice for the upper trims. Trucks “look” fine as long as the tire OD is large enough to fill the wheel well. They can have some sidewall, you don’t need 29″ wheels to achieve the aesthetic. For the towing warriors, it would be cool to see true HD sizes offered that would allow running commercial grade tires with high ply ratings and greater durability. 19.5 or 22.5 for instance. Not for soccer dads “offroading” in the gravel parking lot of a ski lodge, but for guys towing 27k loads on 4000 mile routes it would be great.
