As a reminder, the 2022 Chevy Silverado HD was available with two powertrain options, including the naturally aspirated 6.6L V8 L8T gasoline engine, rated at 401 horsepower and 464 pound-feet of torque, and the 6.6L V8 L5P turbodiesel Duramax, rated at 445 horsepower and 910 pound-feet of torque. The gasoline engine is mated to the GM six-speed automatic transmission, while the diesel engine is mated to the Allison-branded GM 10-speed automatic transmission.
Under the skin, the Silverado HD rides on a more-capable version of the GM T1 platform, with production taking place at the GM Flint plant in Michigan, as well as the GM Oshawa plant in Canada.

So you’re saying the solution for a truck that was shipped with the wrongs shocks is to replace those shocks with the correct shocks? Brilliant.
Not training again? You have got to be kidding?
GM sure is not what they used to be. Your doing a Great job Mary!! NOT
Would be nice to know which plant has the issue. I have a 2022 Silverado 2500 built at Oshawa plant. So far I have paint issues, brakes repaired , leak on oil line, steering shaft replaced, ductwork hanging loose under dash….. But my dealership is awesome and fixed my issues. Wish GM Oshawa would train better . Dealership is what makes my experience bearable .
Wow.. a whole 16 trucks needed a news story.. 🤣🤣🤣
I also have not received my new shock absorbers for my 2022 3500 durmax. Than last week when I plugged in my block heater the engine started on fire. I have always loved Chevrolet. I’m loosing confidence in them. Bad customer service. My truck is still waiting to be fixed no rental they are making me feel it my fault.
Wish they would come up with a fix for transmission on 2021 Silverado 2500
