With a tantalizing combination of power, handling and luxury, the Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing and Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing high-performance luxury sedans have been in high demand since going on sale back in 2021. Now, for fans of the Caddy super sedans that can’t find or afford one, GM has just announced that the Blackwings will soon make their debut in Forza Horizon 5.
Available on Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One consoles, as well as Windows PC and Steam, both V-Series vehicles will make their first appearance with the upcoming Series 19 update. In fact, both vehicles will actually have different windows in which they will be available:
- The CT5-V Blackwing will be available as a seasonal reward from April 6th to April 12th, 2023.
- The CT4-V Blackwing will be available to players as a seasonal reward from April 20th to April 26th, 2023.
“The timing couldn’t be better for the V-Series Blackwings to arrive in Forza Horizon 5,” Global Vice President of Cadillac Rory Harvey said. “Since going on sale in 2021, both V-Series Blackwings have been in high demand, and it’s a thrill to see these iconic sedans come to life in a format that makes them accessible to millions of enthusiasts around the world.”
It’s worth noting that the arrival of the CT4-V Blackwing and CT5-V Blackwing arrival in Forza Horizon 5 will mark the first time Blackwing models make an appearance in the franchise. The two sedans will join the 2013 Cadillac XTS limousine, along with the 2016 Cadillac CTS-V and 2016 Cadillac ATS-V.
This announcement comes as the Cadillac V-Series sub-brand celebrates 20 years of Caddy performance. To commemorate this event, GM has announced that Cadillac will feature a one-year celebration that will include a bevy of new products and features. The 20th anniversary celebration will conclude at Sebring in March of the 2024 calendar year.
