GM Authority reported late last year that 2024 Chevy Spin will receive a major refresh rather than a complete redesign. Now, new details have emerged confirming that the upcoming 2024 Spin will adopt the brand’s latest global design cues.
The upcoming 2024 Chevy Spin is currently under development by General Motors’ engineering arm in Brazil, and sources familiar with the matter revealed that the automaker is planning to build the first pre-production units at the GM São Caetano do Sul plant in April. Furthermore, the South American-exclusive 2024 Spin will boast a design inspired by the Bow Tie brand’s latest styling direction.
According to Autos Segredos, the upcoming 2024 Chevy Spin will maintain the current GM Gamma II platform and body structure, but will receive significant changes to its front and rear fascias, along with a completely new interior and more safety features. This comprehensive update will make the 2024 Spin more modern while remaining the most affordable seven-seat vehicle on the market.
Aesthetically, Brazilian media sources state that the 2024 Chevy Spin will adopt the most recent evolution of Chevrolet’s front-end design introduced on the all-new Chevy Seeker/Trax. As such, the brand’s small MPV will feature Y-shaped grille accenting on the edges of its front end, overhead LED daytime running lights, and bumper-integrated headlamps that give it a frontal look inspired by that of the brand’s new global crossover.
In addition, the rear of 2024 Chevy Spin will get a more modern look with horizontally arranged headlamps connected by a decorative bar just above the license plate. For its part, the passenger compartment will be completely new, in line with the brand’s other recently launched products, and will debut the dashboard panel that integrates the infotainment screen with the digital driver instrument cluster. The Spin should present have an interior similar to that of the refreshed 2023 Chevy Monza.
The upcoming 2024 Chevy Spin will continue to offer five- and seven-seat variants, strengthening its position as South America’s most affordable three-row vehicle. The model’s development will continue over the course of the year and its debut is expected in early 2024 in Brazil, the Spin’s country of origin and only manufacturing location in the world.

Well the article right after this one talks about the Corvette racing team spinning so I’m guessing that the new Chevy spins going to have Corvette styling!
Looks an 80’s station wagon!
no, prefer the 1980`s wagons…
’80’s station wagon with a new Cadillac Instrument panel. The best of both worlds.
The car is so ugly, mainly the A-pillar solution… so let’s see if comes improvement.
If it takes the Seeker as Reference, then it is a bad start, for this facelift.
I’d have to say that the new design theme sucks. Not that it matters to me. I hage the sport utilities aanyway. But it just shows a lack of commitment to breaking new ground…don’t thnk they could find a new road if they actually tried.
What styling ques? Looks like every other dismal crossover.
I own one in Argentina. A 2022 Spin Activ, bought it new. With 7 seats and tons of cargo space with the seats down, it navigates well in Buenos Aires traffic (and parking). It needs about 35 more horsepower, as it struggles passing in the two lane roads but when I’m there, I’m not in that big of a hurry. It does have stability management and a decent apple car integration. Gas mileage is
around 25ish. My US car is a 2022 Volvo XC90 hybrid.
