  1. I believe GM has factored into their pricing model all the XT5 buyers who will levitate towards the XT4 now simply because they want to stick with an I.C.E. SUV as opposed to moving towards the All Electric Lyriq EV SUV and find the XT6 is too large for their current needs. 😉🚙

    1. Except the XT5 is still available, so why are you creating a fictional issue?

Yes, at some point the XT5 will be cancelled but that hasn’t occurred at this point. It’s almost like you’re anxious for its cancellation.

      1. Not anxious at all to see the XT5 go bye bye. I have a 2022 XT5 and love it very much! The plan from GM is to have all models eventually go the way of EV at some point soon so they decided that 2024 will be the last MY for the XT5 in North America. The current model should’ve been replaced for the 2023 MY, but GM has decided to stretch the XT5 into a 8 year run ( even though in China they will see a 2nd Gen XT5 in 2025 ) with it’s last refresh going back to 2020.
It’s obvious that GM planned to introduce the Lyriq as a replacement for the XT5 when it first came out in 2023, however, keeping both models when there is a move to Cadillac wanting to be a completely Electric vehicle manufacturer simply would not make sense.

  3. I currently drive an all option Lincoln Corsair Reserve that is an awesome vehicle. As I lease a vehicle every 2 years the lease is up in January so I will be checking out the ’24 XT4, however, it is up against strong competition! GM needs to get the pricing in line for sure as well have quality options, For example the heads up display in the Lincoln has a lot of info but in pictures I have seen of the GM image it does not compare.
