As previously reported by GM Authority, the 2023 Cadillac XT6 is no longer available to be ordered with either the Latte Metallic or Rosewood Metallic paint options. Now, a third paint color has been added to the list of unavailable hues, Wilder Metallic.
GM Authority sources close to the matter tell us that the Wilder Metallic (color code GED) paint color is now unavailable to be ordered for the 2023 XT6. Notably, this paint color will be built out after the week of March 20th, 2023.
Wilder Metallic was previously available on every trim level for an extra charge of $625. Additionally, it could be combined with all XT6 interior colorways:
- Cirrus with Dark Titanium accents
- Cirrus with Jet Black accents
- Dark Auburn with Jet Black accents
- Jet Black
- Jet Black with Jet Black accents
- Maple Sugar with Jet Black accents
It’s worth noting that Wilder Metallic was originally introduced on the 2021 Cadillac XT6. As of the time of this writing, it’s unclear if this color will return for the 2024 model year. Additionally, the 2023 Cadillac XT5 is also no longer available to be ordered with this paint hue.
As a reminder, the 2023 Cadillac XT6 is available with one of two engine options. These powerplant choices include the turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY gasoline engine, rated at 235 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, as well as the naturally aspirated 3.6L V6 LGX gasoline engine, rated at 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque. Regardless of engine option, the GM nine-speed automatic transmission is equipped as standard, while FWD is standard and AWD is optional.
Under the skin, the XT6 rides on the GM C1 platform, while production for the North American market takes place at the GM Spring Hill plant in Tennessee.

The authors are trying to “fill” up the content with this one. Same paint color deleted for a different vehicle. C’mon this is embarrassing. I guess it was a slow news day huh
When I saw this color I had mixed feelings about it, but when I saw it on the dealer lot I liked it. In person it really didn’t look that green.
Give the customers what they want for these overpriced Cadi,s,I’m paying the price for your brand give me what I want or should I say ok I’ll take the lime green one .Isn’t it only a paint job at the factory They just push a button what color and will la,.Nonsense we will tell you what color to get.Better get Macco lol…Bad enough they push black ebony interiors on most models must be a sale on Black leather.Cmon Cadi wake up your falling behind cheaper brands.
Just Paint every Cadillac White and cross your fingers.
Gee, let me guess. It will be replaced by yet another shade of white, or black, or grey. Cadillacs need different paint colors to help overcome their rather pedestrian designs. Slap a Chevy bowtie on the front and no one would know it was really a Caddy.
