The 2023 Cadillac XT5 represents the seventh model year of the luxury marque’s luxury crossover. Recently, GM Authority reported that the 2023 XT5 was no longer available to be ordered with the Latte Metallic paint color. Now, the Rosewood Metallic hue has become unavailable to order as well.
Sources close to the matter tell GM Authority that the Rosewood Metallic (color code GCK) paint color is no longer available for the 2023 XT5. Notably, this paint color will be built out after the week of March 13th, 2023.
Rosewood Metallic was available across the entire trim lineup for an extra charge of $625. Additionally, it could be combined with all interior colorways:
- Cirrus with Dark Titanium accents
- Cirrus with Jet Black accents
- Jet Black
- Kona Brown Sauvage with Jet Black accents
- Maple Sugar with Jet Black accents
- Sedona Sauvage with Jet Black accents
It’s worth noting that Rosewood Metallic was introduced on the 2022 Cadillac XT5. It’s currently unclear if the color will return for the 2024 model year.
As a reminder, the current 2023 Cadillac XT5 is largely a carryover from the preceding 2022 model year. A few notable details for the 2023 model include the introduction of three new paint colors, while the Bose Performance 14-speaker stereo, embedded navigation and ambient lighting are all now standard on the Premium Luxury and Sport trim levels.
Under the hood, the 2023 XT5 is offered with two powerplant choices. These engine options include turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY gasoline engine, rated at 235 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, and the naturally aspirated 3.6L V6 LGX gasoline engine, rated at 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque. No matter engine choice, the GM nine-speed automatic transmission is equipped as standard, while drivetrain options include either FWD or AWD.
As for structure, the XT5 rides on the GM C1 platform, while production takes place at the GM Spring Hill plant in Tennessee.

I Guess They Only Bought 2 Gallons?
Nice looking ride
Glad I snagged mine this week. Built this month, bought this month. Looks insane with the Sedona Sauvage interior on a Premium Luxury.
Why do they ban colors time to time? Nobody buying, found out something wrong with it? Economically not feasible? WHAT?
Heavens NO!!!!….It Would Be Too Logical For A Explanation!
“Ban”?
It’s not banned. There are only about 90 days left of 2023 MY production. In fact they will likely close the books soon.
