2023 Cadillac XT4 Onyx Package Available To Order Again

The 2023 Cadillac XT4 is the fifth model year for the current first-generation crossover, introducing only a handful of updates and changes compared to the preceding 2022 model year. Now, GM Authority has learned that an optional package for the 2023 Cadillac XT4 that was previously under constraint is once again available to order.

According to GM Authority sources, the Onyx Package (RPO code PDB) is once again available to order for all trim levels of the 2023 Cadillac XT4. The Onyx Package is an LPO-level option, which means that it is installed by the dealer, rather than at the factory when the vehicle is initially produced. The package includes several exterior enhancements, including (relevant RPO codes listed in parentheses):

  • Black surround grille with Black mesh (RZ9)
  • 20-inch Gloss Black Wheels (SKW)
  • Gloss Black XT4 nameplate (RIK)
  • Monochrome Cadillac emblems (SFZ)

As GM Authority reported back in June, the Onyx Package (RPO code PDB), Onyx Lite Package (RPO code PCP), and Radiant Package (RPO code PDV) were previously under constraint and unavailable to order. The Onyx Lite Package was later made available to order again the following July. The Onyx Lite Package includes the following content:

  • 20-inch Gloss Black wheels (SKW)
  • Gloss Black XT4 nameplate (RIK)
  • Monochrome Cadillac emblems (SFZ)

As covered previously, the 2023 Cadillac XT4 introduces two new exterior colors to the crossover’s paint lineup, including Radiant Red Tintcoat (paint code GNT) and Argent Silver Metallic (paint code GXD). Twilight Blue Metallic (paint code GA0), Radiant Silver Metallic (paint code GAN), and Infrared Tintcoat (paint code GSK) were dropped with the 2023 model year.

Under the hood, the 2023 Cadillac XT4 is available with a singular engine option, specifically the turbocharged 2.0 I4 LSY gasoline engine, rated at 235 horsepower at 5,000 rpm and 258 pound-feet of torque at 1,500 rpm. Under the body panels, you’ll find the GM E2 platform. Production of the 2023 Cadillac XT4 began at the GM Fairfax plant in Kansas City last June.
