Three out of seven sets of 22-inch wheels previously under constraint are now available to order again for the 2023 Chevy Tahoe and 2023 Chevy Suburban with a few minor exceptions, GM Authority has learned.
The three 22-inch wheel sets available again for the 2023 Chevy Tahoe and Suburban are LPO or dealer-installed options, and consist of the following (relevant pricing and RPO Code in parentheses):
- 22-inch Multi-spoke Gloss Black wheels ($2,995, SGM)
- 22-inch Black wheels with selective machining ($3,295, SRL)
- 22-inch Multi-spoke Gloss Black wheels ($3,295, SRV)
These three 22-inch wheel sets are available as an option on all 2023 Chevy Tahoe and Suburban trims except the Z71. The one availability exception is that the Black wheels with selective machining (SRL) and Multi-spoke Gloss Black wheels (SRV) wheels are still unavailable for ordering on the fleet-only Suburban LS (Equipment Group 1FL). However, they can be ordered again on the fleet Tahoe LS (Equipment Group 1FL).
The remaining four 22-inch wheel sets remain under constraint, as they have been since November 2022, and are still unavailable to order. The wheels currently under constraint for the 2023 Chevy Tahoe and 2023 Suburban are the following:
- 22-inch Bright Chrome wheels ($3,695, SF1)
- 22-inch Multi-spoke Chrome wheels ($3,695, SF2)
- 22-inch Multi-spoke Chrome wheels ($3,695, SSI)
- 22-inch Multi-split spoke Chrome wheels ($3,695, SSW)
The Enhanced Trailer View feature (RPO code ZM1) has also been unavailable to order on the 2023 Chevy Tahoe and Suburban since August 2022. When available and selected as an option, Enhanced Trailer View uses 13 unique camera views improve the driver’s awareness of the vehicle’s surroundings, including a view enabling the driver to virtually “see through” a compatible trailer.
GM also gave the 2023 Chevy Tahoe and Suburban several new options. The two models got the Advanced Technology Package (RPO code PDN) in September, adding a lineup of camera features, safety systems, and convenience features. Both also received a November update expanding the coverage of Super Cruise (RPO code UKL) hands-free driving.
GM Authority previously revealed start of regular production (SORP) for the refreshed 2024 Chevy Tahoe is scheduled for November 2023. As a reminder, the current 2023 Chevy Tahoe and Suburban are both available with three different engine options, including the naturally aspirated 5.3L V8 L84 gasoline engine, the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine, and the 3.0L I6 LM2 turbodiesel Duramax.
The 2023 Tahoe rides on the GM T1 platform, which is used for all of GM’s current full-size SUVs. Production takes place at the GM Arlington plant in Texas.

Title makes me wonder why you would need three wheels????
What a stupid comment
Ugly wheels! Not enough sidewall for cushioning. All show and no go.
So the choices are black, black and mostly black. Gosh this trend needs to die, black wheels are hideous.
Low profile tires on trucks is one of the stupid trends that needs to go away.
