If it’s modern performance with a Cadillac badge that you’re after, the 2023 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing certainly fits the bill, offering a supercharged dose of adrenaline paired with oodles of backside coddling. Notably, there are several examples of the 2023 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing 120th Anniversary Edition still available at dealers.
GM Authority was able to identify at least three individual examples of the 2023 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing still available at dealers. These include an example in Summit White with a Jet Black interior on offer from Hendrick Cadillac in Cary, North Carolina, listed at $132,029, an example in Summit White with a Jet Black interior on offer from Classic Cadillac in Atlanta, Georgia, listed at $141,035, and an example in Midnight Steel Metallic with a Sky Cool Gray interior on offer from Ed Morse Cadillac Delray in Delray Beach, Florida, listed at $136,595.
The first example of the 2023 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing 120th Anniversary fetched $250,000 at the Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach auction in April 2022.
For those readers who may be unaware, the 120th Anniversary package is tagged with RPO code ABQ and adds an extra $10,000 to the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing’s price tag. The package includes:
- Commemorative sill plates
- B-pillar builder plate
- Unique commemorative shifter medallion (with 6-speed manual transmission only)
- VIN Serialization of commemorative year between 1902 and 2022
Ordering the 2023 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing with the 120th Anniversary package required choosing the Enclosed shipping carrier option, which is tagged with RPO code XES and cost $3,400. Interestingly, two of the models listed above appear to include the new Blackwing decklid badge, which complements the V-Series badge installed on the passenger’s side of the decklid to proudly display the Blackwing designation, lest anyone doubt.
As a reminder, the 2023 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing is equipped with the supercharged 6.2L V8 LT4 gasoline engine engine, which is rated at 668 horsepower and 659 pound-feet of torque. Under the body, the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing rides on the GM Alpha 2 platform, while production takes place at the GM Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan.

That’s a nice $75,000 car.
I’d like to have one of the 1903 models.
I realize that GM would never do it, but I wish they would put the third pedal in the CT5V for the common man. Would be a great way to fly the Cadillac performance G.M flag. So sick of just seeing BMW and Audi sedans all day, since G.M. refuses, for the most part, to offer sedans other than Cadillac. Or as John stated, offer a more basic Blackwing of 75-80K.
We are really gonna miss this type of vehicle…..R.I.P High performance manual V8 American sedan……
Is there a way to tell the build date of a 2023 black wing and what number of the 120 that it was built in? Thanks for any help you can give. Larry
