The changes start with a new front and rear end, the former of which incorporates an updated grille design and new LED headlights with signature vertical lighting cues. The refresh introduces new alloy wheel designs as well, including 18-inch and 20-inch options, plus three new exterior colors, specifically Emerald Lake Metallic, Midnight Sky Metallic, and Deep Sea Metallic. The trim level lineup once again lists out as Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Sport, each of which offers its own unique styling attributes.
Inside, we find an overhauled cabin headlined by a new 33-inch, 9K-resolution LED color touchscreen, the design of which was inspired by the Cadillac Lyriq. The 2024 Cadillac XT4 also offers a 14-speaker audio system from AKG, 5G Wi-Fi hotspot capability, and wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto capability. Customers have a few new interior color and trim choices, with brushed aluminum trim, Piano Black trim, genuine wood, and genuine carbon fiber making the materials list.
More than a dozen safety features are included as standard, with standouts like Blind Zone Steering Assist, Rear Cross Traffic Braking, and Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning. Further safety tech features are offered through the Active Safety Package. GM Super Cruise is expected to be rolled out at a later, unspecified date.
As for what’s under the hood, the refreshed 2024 Cadillac XT4 carries over the turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY gasoline engine, which is rated at 235 horsepower at 5,000 rpm and 258 pound-feet of torque at 1,500 rpm. Output is directed through the GM 9-speed automatic transmission, with both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive available to put it to the pavement.
Production of the 2024 Cadillac XT4 will kick off in April at the GM Fairfax Assembly plant in Kansas City. Pricing information will be released closer to production start, with new units hitting dealers this summer.
