Now the federal government has re-classified the Lyriq where it will receive the $7,500 tax credit, I hope GM can build the automobile. GM spent a lot of advertisements dollars on it when they knew they could not build it. Top management blundered a lot of the ads. budget on this auto last year.
All safety features should be standard equipment for ALL GM vehicles. It’s amazing to see the lesser priced vehicles with more standard safety features isn’t it!! Tomg
The Lyrique looks like a fine automobile and I will probably eventually transition to all Electric but when are we going to see the 2024 XT4 refresh. They’re going to start production of it in late April why no spyshots yet? I’m waiting to see the new interior with new dash and console.
Great content on the option packages and which is available at each trim level.
My dealer doesn’t even have this yet….which says something about how badly GM/Cadillac has botched the Lyric rollout.
Your Dealership does have this information, GM has been giving the dealerships all this information, just tells you your dealership isn’t paying attention. Most of this stuff was revealed early by Dealership meetings with GM by a Dealership that regularly posts on the Cadillac forums.
What is the difference between 2024 Lyriq trim levels of luxury 2 and luxury 3? Does someone know where I can find the difference between the various trim levels of this car?
Thank you, this is very helpful.
Had the same question…Thanks for the info!
Did anyone come up with a way to see these differences?
SUPER CRUISE availability and pricing!?!?!?!?!?
It’s Standard on Lux 2/Sport2 and 3 of the Lyriq and not available on Tech or Lux 1/Sport1
Thank you. Where did you find that information?
There is a 2024 Order Guide out and about that lists all this.
I linked to it in the above posts
Where’s the HUD? It’s not listed in the features.
GM is having issues with the Supplier of the new HUD, it isn’t available for the 24, for now.
Thanks for some of the best photos yet of that awful rear end. I am still unsure what they were smoking when that got designed and approved.
Thanks to Meh for the detailed order package link.
Here is my problem. Lux 2 column says $66,990. What does that include? Is it $3500 more for AWD (originally was only $2K)? Or do I interpret that as those things that are listed as Options are included in the $66,990 and only the “Extra-Charge Colors get added to that cost? If the $66,990 doesn’t include the options and the destination charge, then these prices are a deal breaker for me.
The Order Guide Tells you what is Standard For Each Trim level.
Stepping up to AWD is a $3,500 addition.
Each Trim level up will have Available Options from the previous Trim as Standard or have additional options the previous Trim did not have as Standard or Available.
No Super Cruise? I’m never going to buy a car without that.
Read above, it has Super Cruise.
Oops! Sorry!
Anyone know if the 2024’s will still have the “up to $1,500” electric wiring assistance?
So, leather is only available on top tier models?!
I wish i could just get the 2023 AWD that I ordered the price has gone way up on the lyriq !!!
If you have a 2023 Reservation and are moved to 2024 GM is giving you a $5000 private offer off the 2024 prices.
Have not seen that from GM so far as that is my case.
Lux 2 seems to be the one I would want. Super Cruise and driver assist are included in that version as far as I can determine.
Check the Cadillac Forums, a Dealership that regularly posts there is the source.
Do you have a link to that forum?
Wondering if this could have been a reference to the $5K given to some early owners to let Cadillac track and use data from their Lyriqs.
Well apparently GMA didn’t like me linking to off-site and all my posts with links are either hidden or removed… Just go to Google and search cadillacforums….
Here is the quote from Lockhart Cadillac:
“Cadillac also announced a private offer of $5000 for Lyriq customers that ordered between 5/18/22 – 11/30/22 for the 2023 Lyriq. There will be a manifest list sent to the dealers that they will go off of and reach out to the customer to let them know. 2024 Lyriqs will also have the Qmerit $1500 offer or the 2 years of EVGo.”
Does that $1500 have to be spent through Qmerit? They are just a referral system that takes a fee for giving you the name of a local electrician who the claim to have vetted their work.
I thought I read that you just produced receipts for the work done by a licensed electrician.
Has anyone here used that credit?
I’m in the same boat – ordered the 2023 AWD on day one (5/18/2022) and our salesperson in South Florida has no ETA info. So if we will get a private $5K off offer on the 2024 AWD then I feel better and won’t shop for another EV. It hasn’t been encouraging so far in terms of Lyriq news. 🙁
I found that post last night and saw it was from my dealership!
Sent an email last night with that post ro my contact at Lockhart and this morning he confirmed that the program is real and I was on the list!
Class act by Cadillac to get the price of the ’24 back to the original ’23 quote.
We are not out of the woods yet on the full $7500 tax credit. Next is US manufacturing (Lyriq checks that) and battery material sourcing, which might not meet the requirements. My feeling is that mostly likely is a $3750 credit unless Cadillic works the same magic on the source rules as the SUV definition.
Are there plans to offer Plugless, WiTrisity, or other wireless induction systems to the Lyriq or other vehicles?
I’ve been charging with my wireless system for almost 9 years and I’m not sure I could go back to plugging in my cars at-home again.
I spoke with my dealer’s Lyriq “expert” yesterday afternoon and he said his Cadillac Area Rep (Northern California) had just left.
I could either go to the GM “build” website, which opened that morning, but only gives minimal info to configure an order (what you select only adds to your profile under your Wait List number) or give him the info and he would add it. I had him add it to my profile and read it back to me.
He said they would call me when my car was scheduled to be built and confirm my choices. When asked if they are adding “market adjustments” or were packing the car with extras, like window etching or LoJack, he said any car ordered would be @ MSRP with no add-in’s, but if you were offered a car that someone else ordered and changed their mind, allowing you to move up in line, then all bets were off.
He knew nothing about a “private offer” discount and was just going off the prices he had been given which match what is on the website.
He did confirm that the price still includes the $1500 credit for installation of home charger wiring installation BUT you must go through Qmerit, or you could take 2 years of free charging at EVGo locations. (If you can find one that is not broken).
This dealership had 50 people on the wait list and has 2 cars in transit with 4 scheduled for production before the 2023 line shuts down in mid-March. Those 6 are ALL of the Lyriqs they will receive. Everyone who is still on the list will get a 2024 model sometime in the future. When I said that I am expecting to see my May 25 wait list position “order” sometime in September, he was optimistic from what his Rep told him that the original wait list would be cleared out by June. (I didn’t ask which year, however 😉).
