GM unveiled the 2024 Chevy Trax last October, officially ushering in a brand-new third generation for the entry-level crossover. Now, we’re taking a closer look at the 2024 Chevy Trax, this time focusing on the various wheel options on offer.
In total, the 2024 Chevy Trax offers six different wheel options, including one steel wheel design, and five aluminum wheel designs. The different wheel designs on offer depend on the trim level selected, and range between 17, 18, and 19 inches in diameter. The largest 19-inch wheels are equipped by 2RS trim levels, while 1RS and Active trim levels run 18-inch wheels. LS and LT trim levels run 17-inch wheels.
The wheels are listed as (relevant RPO codes and associated 2024 Chevy Trax trim level included in parentheses):
- 17-Inch Steel wheels with covers (PWP, standard for LS trim level)
- 17-Inch Silver painted aluminum wheels (RSE, included and only available for LS trim level with LS Convenience Package)
- 18-Inch Black painted aluminum wheels (RQH, 1RS trim level)
- 17-Inch Gray painted aluminum wheels (Q7D, LT trim level)
- 19-Inch Black painted machined aluminum wheels (RQN, 2RS trim level)
- 18-Inch Black painted aluminum wheels (RSZ, Activ trim level)
To note, the 17-inch Silver painted aluminum wheels (RPO code RSE) are included and only available for the 2024 Chevy Trax LS trim level in conjunction with the LS Convenience Package, which is tagged with RPO code ZFT and is priced at $995.
Pricing for the 2024 Chevy Trax starts at $21,495 for the LS trim level, $23,195 for the 1RS trim level, $23,395 for the LT trim level, and $24,995 for both the 2RS trim level and the Activ trim level. Under the hood, the new 2024 Chevy Trax features the turbocharged 1.2L I3 LIH gasoline engine, while under the skin, the crossover rides on the GM VSS-F vehicle set. Production takes place at the GM Bupyeong plant in South Korea.

They should offer a aluminum wheel that resembled the first image (hubcap) . There’s only so much you can do with wheel designs I guess.
They all look like sin(hell) except for the hubcap.
