One week after the all-new Wuling Bingo EV made its world debut in China, SAIC-GM-Wuling (SGMW) has just revealed the interior design of Wuling’s next zero-emission vehicle.
General Motors’ second joint venture in China has revealed the first images of all-new Wuling Bingo EV’s interior design, a next-generation subcompact hatchback that arrives as the first five-door, pure electric car developed by the Chinese automaker. As such, the Bingo EV will expand the Wuling brand’s line-up in the zero-emission car market by positioning itself above the Wuling MINI EV, Nano EV and Air EV minicars.
As with the exterior appearance, the official images show that the interior of all-new Wuling Bingo EV adopts a new design language for the brand, with multiple rounded lines and retro-inspired elements. In particular, the minimalist dashboard layout stands out, which includes independent modules for double infotainment screen and the air vents painted in the same color as the body with chrome inserts.
The Wuling Bingo EV’s floating dashboard blends harmoniously with the brand’s latest steering wheel design, the dual display module for the driver instrument cluster and the 10.25-inch infotainment system touchscreen, as well as a discreet power button and three physical circular controls for the air conditioning system. The center console is also minimalist and includes a space-saving rotary gear selector, along with an electronic parking brake.
In addition, the new Wuling Bingo EV’s cabin features a combination of various materials and contrasting colors for a higher level of customization. The base of the dashboard, the seats and the door trims are lined in micro-perforated synthetic leather, with two-tone stitching that matches the color of the rounded modules. For their part, the two-tone seats have an optimized design to maximize cabin space.
The all-new Wuling Bingo EV will be officially launched in the coming weeks and will go on sale shortly thereafter in China, expanding SGMW’s range of all-electric vehicles in the world’s largest automotive market and major hub of volume of zero-emission cars. In fact, the Bingo EV seeks to strengthen the leadership of Wuling brand in the category of electric vehicles, by specializing in small, affordable models.

Wow! A non-premium gm car with non-black interior! Oh, my mistake. It’s just in China.
Well that’s one way to take an otherwise nice looking interior and f**k it up.
I sure hope this tacky screen war ends soon.
Chinese equivalent of a clown car.
Nice .. for the daughter to go College
Looks a little like a smaller version of the old PT Cruiser. Does the back seats fold down to haul rice!
Not likely to see the anime teddy bear show up on USA models as nav support. Guessing camo isn’t real big in China either.
The interior design well above what you can get a Mini brand or any other tiny funky euro cars.
