According to sources close to the matter, GM Authority has learned that inventory levels across the U.S. of the Chevy Blazer have risen in the beginning of February 2023.
Roughly 4,700 units of the Chevy Blazer were on the ground at dealerships as of early February, with an additional 2,000 examples of the midsize crossover on their way to dealers across the U.S. This gives the Blazer a 23 days supply, meaning there is sufficient Blazer inventory to last 23 days at the current sales pace. As context, a 60 days supply was considered normal prior to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Chevy Blazer inventory levels have been slowly improving as of late. Back in October 2022, the Blazer had a 13 days supply, while in January 2023, the Bow Tie crossover had an increase to a 17 days supply with 3,900 units on the ground and 5,700 additional units in transit.
As a reminder, the Chevy Blazer has had a rough year in regards to sales. While still placing in the middle of the pack in regards to sales figures, the mid-size crossover posted a four percent decrease to 67,246 units over the course of the 2022 calendar year. This stands in stark contrast to Chevy’s overall average growth rate, which saw a six percent rise for the same timeframe.
