Toyota is hammering away on the next-generation Toyota Tacoma pickup, which is set to launch for the 2024 model year and will rival models from the GM camp like the Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon. Now, a new series of spy photos reveal the upcoming 2024 Toyota Tacoma interior.
Unfortunately, the new cabin features are obscured by some heavy cloth camouflage draped across the dash and center stack, but nevertheless, there are still several noteworthy bits and pieces we can pick out, starting with what appears to be a fully digital instrument cluster. Just ahead of the digital readout is a new steering wheel, which looks to incorporate multiple materials for the rim and a new hard button layout at the 3 o’clock and 9 o’clock positions.
Moving over to the center stack, we find a horizontal infotainment screen placed up top. Notably, the infotainment screen on this 2024 Toyota Tacoma prototype appears to be only slightly larger than the 8-inch screen equipped by the current Toyota Tacoma, if it is indeed larger at all.
Looking at the center console, the next-gen 2024 Toyota Tacoma looks to be equipped with an all-new shifter. The new shifter is located a bit closer to the driver, as compared to the current shifter location, which is a little closer to the front passenger instead.
Moving into the outside, the 2024 Toyota Tacoma’s revised exterior styling is masked by some thick camo covers. However, as covered in previous spy photos, the pickup is expected to introduce a lower hood line and a new windshield design, as well as new lighting with restyled tail lamps. The rear end on this prototype is once again equipped with some street sweeper camo, likely as a means of hiding the truck’s coil spring rear suspension.
Look for the next-generation 2024 Toyota Tacoma to get a full reveal later this year.

It has a shifter…
Looks like a heavier duty axle than the past Tacomas. Intriguing.

“The rear end on this prototype is once again equipped with some street sweeper camo, likely as a means of hiding the truck’s coil spring rear suspension.” I guess the camo didn’t work lmao
